There is nothing quite so satisfying as seeing someone make a dimwitted remark about another state's lack of culture while simultaneously making a grammar mistake.

I was educated in Oklahoma and Arkansas..... English is a second language there with the predominant language being hillbilly speak.

I just enjoy the irony of anyone in the south making fun of others in the south for being uncultured.

I'm just giving Har the vile response he expects. Apparently we are suppose to care if a University outside the state is allowed tags issued.

I wonder if he knows that whenever he buys anything with the collegiate licensed sticker that he's putting money in a Bama man's hands.

Must suck to go through life fretting over something so small and trivial .

What's really interesting is in Southwest MS here there are alot of sidewalk Bama fans, and this territory might as well be annexed by LA there are so many LSU fans. These people are absolute trash either way

It only bothers me because AL and LA would never let this happen, and that's supposed to be OK because both of those states are home to football powerhouses and Mississippi is not?

What does that say for those two states?

Just a debated topic

Why is that ironic? You've no idea about my education level, cultural experiences, where I was educated, or how smart I am. It's unbelievably ignorant to make such flippant comments about culture based solely on someone's home state. I made my assessment on the fact that you can't distinguish between to and too when leveling an ignorant blow. The people I know who grew up in Arkansas and Oklahoma went to private schools, schools in New England or other southern states with better education choices to be educated. They are perfectly cultured, and they know that people from less cultured states can still be schooled in proper grammar.

It's unfortunate that you make such sweeping generalizations and contribute to your dimwitted image with poor choices in grammar.

What other states? Please research before you assume.

Tennessee has Alabama and possibly Kentucky specialty plates, and sadly, even UTK.

Am curious if anyone has ever tried to get an out of state school tag in Alabama and what they were told. I know you have to have a certain number of people pledge to the cause, but I don't know how they go about getting the OK to start the campaign.

I think what the OP may have tried to say but got it horribly wrong is only trashy people pull for Bama, regardless of state of residency. And he is an LSU fan going to Jackson State so he really hates his life.

Fwiw the MS schools don't even feel like home to me like LSU does. I only live 2 hours away from BR as opposed to over 6 from Oxford and Starkville. I'm also around 30 minutes from the Alabama border.

Well those coordinates put you on the coast so I could see how Starkville and Oxford not being ghetto could make it not feel homey to you, homey.
