It still blows my mind that he thinks that this is any different than the Chambliss matter. Chambliss is ruled INELIGIBLE by the NCAA and will be set to make 200x what Weight or Harris has made in the NFL combined. They made a combined $25k from the NFL. That's probably a D2 NIL deal today.

The question isn’t whether Sankey knows the rule book; rather, it’s whether the conference an enforce its rules for a voluntary association. Sorry but it can.
Surprised this is seen as such a “gotcha” moment. Judge erred. It will get corrected either on appeal (doubtful due to local politics and interests) or by a federal judge in Alabama who won’t be beholden to Tiger football but will instead follow the law (very likely).
The real surprise here is how short-sighted LSU and its group calling shots here has been and will apparently continue to be.
Prediction: Some adults in the LSU camp will pull back and tell Kiffen not to play the ineligible players.

Ok why don’t you Sankey lovers explain how the big ten has been schooling us since he took over. Making much more money, cutting better deals, won last two nattys. Saban was running this league, since he is gone we are in free fall
