Show me anyone that didn't have Florida State as a top 5 team at the beginning of the season?

Point is, no one ones how things will shake out as a season matures. That's why they really shouldn't have polls until about the 4th or 5th week of the season

It is a Fact. Coach Saban can’t stand him. Neither can the majority of his former teammates.

Nobody can predict how a season will go.

But for McElroy to say that the linebacking corp would be a weakness is the kind of thing he would say on a dare.
UGA returned 2 seniors who were probably talked out of leaving early for the NFL (i.e. seniors with a ton of experience). UGA returned a 5 star ILB who as made a name for himself as a Butkus finalist and All American candidate and probable 1st round draft pick this upcoming draft.

It is one thing to say that predictions are like buttholes and they usually stink. But to justify a prediction with full blown retardation is the beef here.

I am the Link. Anyone around the program knows this. Greg isn’t the only one either. There are several former players who have alienated themselves from the program by their selfish and smug actions.

This sounds just like an Ohio State fan criticizing Kirk Herbstreit because he wasn’t 100% homer about them on TV.

McElroy is good. Almost no one makes good pre-season predictions.

Problem is I don’t care who is an Alabama homer or not. In fact I prefer to not hear homerism and I certainly don’t want to live in a redneck Echo Chamber. This has nothing to do with what Greg says or doesn’t say as an analyst. He is not well liked for many reasons none of which have to do with him as a broadcaster. He was not liked before he even had that job.

Ugh, no thanks. That guy is really full of himself.

Greg is ok, but he never shuts up.

He sucks. He said if Georgia and Bama met in sec championship and the game was close and they clearly looked like 2 of the best 4 teams one should be left out of the playoff. Sucks that Georgia lost and we won't see that potential scenario but I think his position that the "top 4 shouldn't be the best 4 it should be the most deserving 4" is absolutely idiotic...how is being in the top 4 not deserving

Most LSU fans had the opposite opinion in 2011.

he talks too much.

on the ga prediction - the only decent team ga has faced ran the ball at will. So yes, his analysis is correct, he just missed the win total.

wasn't a playoff then either. Ok. St. had a good argument to play us. Also the fact his alma mater benefited from getting a rematch should make him a proponent of the best 4 being in final 4.
