Greg McElroy is not very good analyst

I just saw on twitter, he predicted UGA to go 7-5 which is understandable, but he said the reason we would be bad would be because he didn’t think our LB’ers would be good enough, and our d in general.
We have 2 LBers up for LB of the year, and one for Defensive player of the year.

McElroy is good. Almost no one makes good pre-season predictions.

Prediction wasn't terrible, sounds like his analysis of our team was. Any preseason eval of our team would have led you to predict that our defense would be a strength with linebackers being by far the strongest unit.

No, he's not a good analyst and he hates my team because he didn't pick them and said mean things about them. That's how it works around here.

Even though McElroy QB'd at Bama, I would rather him call the Iron Bowl over Gary "Saban Cock Gobbler" Danielson.
Kinda wish the Iron Bowl was on ESPN and they would let him and Cole Cubelic (ex-AU player) call the game together.

McElroy is one of the best out there.

Cubelic would make a great color analyst; always has good insights, particularly on line play.

McElroy is fine. The only thing that ever bothered me about him is his clear disdain for Jacob Eason. He always went above and beyond to shite on Eason as a quarterback as well as questioning if he cared. I thought it went pretty far considering Eason was a true freshman.

Cole Cublelic hasn't graduated from SEC Network sideline reporter yet.

Greg sucks. Ask any of his former teammates. 90% of them hate him. He basically has been removed from the Alabama fambly.
