Great news and I know everyone will be pulling for him…his football career is over, and his life will be a fight

Has it been determined yet if the tumor was malignant?

Praying for Greg…puts things in perspective…wishing nothing but the best for him.

How is this a certainty so soon after?

Don’t think that information has been made public yet

That's great news.

Lost a nephew to brain cancer. Horrible disease. Prayers.

Good to hear his surgery went well. I hope your diagnosis is incorrect.
Do you have facts?
I’m not trying to be an a-hole, but I’ve seen brain surgeries go well and I hope this will be the case for this young man.

Yes, good news is good. I pray for the young man. I hate for anyone to go through that.

Man, it’s a shot in the gut for any kid to have to fight through that kind of adversity at such a young age, just getting ready for football and only to find out such news out of the blue and have to go into surgery, but I hope and pray that something really good comes out of it for him. Going to be pulling for Greg, and keeping the fella in my prayers too.

Really bothers me that young people have to go through such trauma. Peak physical condition, life spent In relentless pursuit of same, only to have to go through this.
Yet somehow someone like myself, having never spent a single day in pursuit of anything other than personal debauchery, goes 50+ years with no real issues.
It’s honestly not fair.

I do not think so. The last statement was they were waiting for the biopsy.

"I just got word on his tumor. It was on his brainstem just under his cerebellum and is benign. This was the reason for his vertigo symptoms. It caused fluid build up - hence the emergency. He is expected to make a full recovery, out for the season, but should be able play again next season. Wonderful news."

These are the types of things that make you realize football is just a game. It sucks because he’s such a good kid. Praying for a full recovery
