Pelican Point is not a good
Course. CCL being a neighborhood development course really doesn’t have it in the same stratosphere as any old club in the state. I’d take the likes of a BRCC NOCC MCC every day of the week over it. I just prefer courses that stand alone and don’t have houses on pretty much every hole. BRCC is also about to blow up the entire course and do a major renovation and probably be up there with Metairie, Squire (overrated btw) for the number one course in the state

The new Footjoy Hyperflex are ridiculous. I am a Footjoy snob though

We had Brian Thomas and Malik Nabers last year lol

Between his antics this week and the slow play(which is the worst on tour), I’m fully out on Tom Kim.
re: Rob Murphy Experience?

Rob is a good teacher. I would say he is more geared towards mid to high handicappers. He is great at teaching the fundamentals of the swing, however, if you are say a 5 HCP, i don’t think he is going to help you take the leap to getting close to scratch.

Lawsonia Links. It’s probably too late to get on Erin Hills on such short notice

Same thing is true in golf. It doesn’t make sense but it is true

Sand Valley is an easy trip compared to Bandon. I’m pumped for these courses though
re: Zosia grass and bent greens is what led to those low scores at the PGA

them playing a course that shouldn’t be a major venue is what led to the high scores

Yeah man this is why i’m an independent. Each side divides our country and even divides their own parties on dumb issues. Frick em all

Being able to protest is a constitutional right. Conservatives always say that free speech is under attack, then turn around and freak out on people protesting the flag(even though the team didn’t even fricking protest). This is why politics are dumb.
re: Wisconsin - Whistling Straits or Sand Valley - very lucky

Sand Valley. Inquire if you can get on the Lido. They have 5 courses now with Sedge Valley opening

He’s figured out his ball striking after having the worst approach play season of his career last year

Scottie needs either to move to the broomstick or armlock or go to Brad Faxon and beg him to teach him to putt. It’s mind boggling how he is on a generational run Tee to Green and is 170th on tour in putting.
re: Watching PGA on courses you've played

One of the more wild things i’ve seen is the marker in the 18 fairway at Erin Hills. JT hit a 3 wood to 3 feet from like 310 at the out at the US Open and seeing it in person is mind boggling. That is one of the hardest holes i’ve ever played and seeing that makes you question life lol.
