Great QBs have History of making mediocre Coaches look good.

Many coaches have started power conference HC careers looking like they are Great. Then their QB goes to the NFL and the languish with mediocre careers afterwards.

Jimbo Fisher with Jameis Winston
Mack Brown - Vince i would say Dabo Sweeney will prove out the same.

Yes, we have never seen in the history of college football where great players masked bad coaches. Never ever. Coaches have no trouble whatsoever holding down jobs in this space.

Didn’t LSU spend $7 million on the quarterback position this year?
So far in his career Lane has needed an NFL level QB to win 10 games.
As a P4 head coach Lane has won 10+ games 5 times, every single time he had a future NFL QB.
USC: 10-2, Matt Barkley (4th round 98th pick, 11 year NFL career)
Ole Miss: 10-3, Matt Corral (3rd round 94th pick, 3 year NFL career)
Ole Miss: 11-2, Jaxson Dart (1st round 25th pick, current NFL starter)
Ole Miss: 10-3, Jaxson Dart (“)
Ole Miss: 11-1, Trinidad Chambliss (TBD)
Every season he didn’t have a future NFL QB he won 5-8 games.
