And?
You do realize that if we added Kansas, Okst, ksu and Texas tech could have 5 more sec games each year.

How would that be? Horrible.

You are wrong
But I don’t get why people bitch when it’s completed anyway. Such a waste of time.

Oh no

You replace playing Bama with Georgia. And Florida with Tennessee or Texas or OU.

Oh the horror! Recruits are going to hate those games.

LSU fans bitch more than anyone on this site.

Maybe you should move to the Big 10 where they actually have a ton of craptastic games. Then you could bitch all you want.

I disagree.

I'm perfectly happy giving up yearly games against Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky and Tennessee while keeping Florida, Auburn and South Carolina in order to play every team in the conference twice in every 4 year stretch.

That includes playing interesting opponents twice in a 4 year window like Alabama, LSU, Texas and Oklahoma. That goes along with playing those old division opponents twice every 4 years.

I see it as a huge win for UGA.

This is exactly what I’m talking about.

You get to keep Florida and Auburn and also get a good rivalry with SC.

We lost Auburn, Florida and Alabama and didn’t even get to have someone like Oklahoma.

Not one of our permanents even won the sec ONE TIME since the sec champ game. Two of them have never even been to Atlanta.

As a long time LSU fan, I'm good with the new setup. We're going to see every conference team in a short timeframe.

For those who say "it was better before"... let me point this out. LSU never played:
Hershel Walker
Bo Jackson
Peyton Manning

That's 3 of the greatest players in the history of the game, SEC players. Not 1-and-done guys.
This. It's amazing how some people focus on the negatives, and not the positives, of the new scheduling setup.

Having Bama Auburn LSU Ole Miss and A&M in one division, while the East had Georgia and NO ONE that could seriously challenge them.

Sit down and STFU, you know-notrhing idiot.

Tennessee, Florida, and even South Carolina were always serious challenges.

You were NEVER a serious challenge to anything. aTm is NOT AND NEVER HAS BEEN a powerhouse that challenged in the SEC.

Ole Miss is one of three original schools that never went to Atlanta. UK and VU being the other two.
aTm never even challenged for Atlanta.

Including the Jimbo Sumlins as a powerhouse....What a joke. You are closer to the UK and VU level than you are to the top tier.

aTm a powerhouse.

Great point...as a Vol fan, I would point out that I didn't get to see my team face Joe Burrow...or I could point out the fact that Tennessee only faced Bert Jones because they played LSU in a Bowl Game in 1972.

I only got to see my team face Cam Newton when he was on the bench at Florida, because we didn't play against Auburn when he was there.

We went 9 years without playing South Carolina before last year. New schedule is a huge improvement

You say this as a team that gets to face LSU and Texas.

That’s one big6 school along with a blueblood. You should be good with that.

With Alabama Auburn and Florida , we had more of a chance for night games.

You got your rivals and favorite games. We ended up with three teams that haven’t won the sec cg.

And this is worse than the 8 or so years we were having to wait to travel to other campuses under previous models?

This new model will be so much better. The main traditional rivalries are maintained and every school should hit every other campus in a 4 year span so that a 4 year player will have been in every SEC stadium at least once.

I see the idea to shorten the time between rematches (but NOT the push for a full H/A cycle in 4 years).
But divisions instantly told you about the CG race.

For Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia? Yes.

LSU stuck with two previously shoe-horned rivalries from the SWC and Ole Miss.

The SEC exists in name only. It isn't really the SEC any longer.

LSU doesn't have a true rivalry.

I beleive I agreed with you by saying shoe-horned.

They were forced.

Alabama, Auburn and Florida were natural.
