What’s interesting to me is most of the players go nuts after every play or hit they make. OU players have done this in every game I have watched them, not just the CWS. They are an outstanding team, appears they are going to win it all easily. And I get showing some emotion from time to time. But going nuts and screaming every single time. I just figured they would be a little more reserved at times.

And the field is smaller than a tee ball field. No wonder they cheer when they manage to throw someone out at 1st. The girl only needed 4 steps to get there.

Not all the girls that play look like the Arkie right fielder. Some of them are pretty hot.
And the Lesbo thing is way over with. It's all pretty much pampered upper middle class white kids who could afford travel ball. Many of whom are quite hot.

Really? Arkansas would never know

WCWS opens with 14-year high
Thursday’s opening day of the Women’s College World Series averaged 813,000 viewers on ESPN, the largest audience for the first day of the event since 2008. Both Oregon State-Florida and Northwestern-Oklahoma averaged 901,000 viewers.
Going back to the super regionals last weekend, Texas-Arkansas led the way with a 0.53 rating and 1.02 million — the largest audience ever for a regional or super regional match on ESPN.

It’s pretty boring, but the pitchers are very skilled

I'm able to nap much better during college baseball, or MLB for that matter, than I am with college softball. It is much more entertaining.
That said, the LLWS beats them all.

Remember when the WCWS final had more viewers than the CWS final? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

It's far more entertaining than college baseball. Oklahoma being so dominant though is kinda ruining the fun of it.

Are girls not allowed to play sports in your mind? God forbid they play on a field designed for their level of strength/speed. These girls aren't infringing on your precious baseball.
Btw I also enjoy baseball, played it, and have two sons who currently play. I also have two daughters who are softball players, they are every bit as skilled as the boys, and work just as hard too.
There are some fricking insecure "men" on this site. Jesus

what does entice you watching LSU getting their heads bashed in 1 out of 2 games in football? when LSU was good in softball he was most likely bragging on his team lol. This is LSU fans to its core.

quote:well, yes, when it's 10pm and I'm tuning into SEC Now to see what I hope is 30 minutes of SEC baseball regional highlights, and then get greeted with 10+ minutes leading off to cover one girls game in OKC. Then, yes... One channel is the situation.
You just have one channel?

No doubt I could give you 10 swings at slowpitch and you wouldn't be able to knock it out of that 220 ft field.

D1 softball is the only sport I can really get into anymore besides football.
I used to watch college baseball because it was way more entertaining them MLB, but then I discovered softball was even more entertaining. Of course it helps quite a but when your school is dominating the sport, but they weren't when I got into it.
And the season is timed out nearly perfectly to fill the gaps between football seasons. I've grown to hate basketball with every fiber of my being, so that wasn't gonna work.
