GG and series LSU. Got no excuses.

It’s like a mental block playing LSU in Starkville. I knew what we faced on Sunday as we have yet to find pitching for game 3.
It was the yesterday game that hurt. Believe it or not JT Ginn is a very good pitcher. He gave up 3 runs first inning and folded up. True freshmen but he’s actually a great pitcher.
I thought LSU pitched very well for the weekend. Today we hit numerous hard hit balls but right at someone. LSU on the other hand found the gaps and got into our heads.
It is what it is. LSU once again just owns us in our own park.

sadly there are a bunch of LSU fans that still do. And they always will until Paul wins like 3 more national championships. What they dont understand is the parity of college baseball now. When LSU won 5 national championships in 9 years will most likely never happen again.

I wouldn’t blame it on the park. State took the series from a Mainieri team 1 time at the Box. That year they played in Hoover and LSU won to split the season series 2-2. Some teams just have your number.

I don’t know what it is, we just can’t beat you guys in our own park. I won’t lie, it hurts. Nothing worse than being there to see it happen.
I really thought we might have a slugfest in game 3 since sunday pitching is not there yet. I thought your pitcher did a great job with men on base and we just couldn’t keep an inning going. Our bats, just wow. Silent.

It is so refreshing to come across fans like you. Just good sportsmanship. I have to say, your ball park is amazing bud! Y’all are definitely on the way up. Here’s to many great games in the future.

I hope this weekend turns it around for us. So far this season we have been less than impressive even in victory before this weekend. As for MSU, you have a veteran team that will give you dawg fans a season that will rival some of the best in Starkville.

I think it will help recruiting. I can’t remember when we had a first round pick forgo the money to come to Starkville. Hoping this will repeat as LSU gets those guys.

Well unfortunately a lot of people will be absolute assholes when their teams lose. Especially if LSU happens to be the team that won.
Kentucky fans have been absolute assholes this whole year since LSU beat them.

He wasn’t a freshman all American pitcher for no reason. He was LSUs best pitcher in 2017 by the end of the season and we had Alex Lange who was pretty damn good.
