Get in price is $190 for Georgia LSU

Have we reached peak sports?
Has playoff diminished value of these tickets?
The last two years, the get in price was around $400.
I guess UGA three in a row may have diminished their interest, but I never realized LSU fans were so poor.

People would be giving the tickets away if Auburn were in it

So, wait. Do you BRAG about paying MORE for the same item?
“You only paid how much for your car? Pfffft. I paid 3 times that much for the same vehicle. I win!”
Weird flex.

Bama tickets were $250 minimum. Most around $3-500.

Georgia fans don’t want to pay to see a bloodbath.

Our side is still expensive, it's the coonass side that's cheap.

Bitching about cheaper tickets?

It costs exactly $0 to watch Auburn in the SECCG.

This is an interesting question. UGA fan enthusiasm might not be as high as the last 2 years but reports are 60%+ of the crowd will be UGA supporters so that doesn't make sense really.
In my opinion this has something to do with LSU but in a good way. LSU fans are fired up and ready to go so tickets should be in demand. If the game was in Dallas, or Nashville, I could see LSU fans traveling with 50K+. Atlanta is a full blown trip so it isn't cheap.
In general the same fans tend travel for road games so going to Atlanta, and then first round of playoffs, and the Championship game is pretty damn expensive for most people. LSU fans expecting a run to the Championship so maybe they are holding off on Atlanta and planning on traveling to the next 2 games.

I have permanent seats.
Some years I go.
Some years I sell.
I’m just reporting that the ticket market is softer this year.
I did ok. I cleared $315 per ticket before Georgia beat Auburn.
The worst year I remember was Alabama Florida in 2015. It was a very soft market.

I think it’s most of them assuming playoffs NC etc are a given like they typically do leading up to the Bama game. It’s just lasting a few weeks longer this year.

Which is weird because it was Florida first in 6 years
Also auburn and Alabama are within driving distance to Atlanta easy. You can be home the night of the game probably damn near by midnight depending on where you live. LSU is a full blown fly in game. You basically had to plan this out before it was even guaranteed aka immediately after alabama.

Of course it is.Prices are still somewhat high on the UGA.We'll be close to 70% at kickoff.

C'mon bro.Its a 6 1/2 drive to Atlanta and the game starts @ 4.You could get away with even staying one night at a cheaper hotel a little outside the city.

First time in 7-8 years for LSU to play in the SECCG so I would imagine our fans will travel and travel well

Schools only get directly 13k tickets.
The rest go to PSL holders, suite holders, sponsors, SEC office (share to their sponsors and other SEC schools) and those smart enough to buy SEC Championship tickets while the game was in Birmingham that renew (lots of AU and AL fans).
UGA will naturally have a greater percentage of the crowd just by connections to all the other tickets. Prices to AL/AU would generally push higher because they have larger fan bases in ATL and an easy day drive over.
The curious thing we will never really get to know is what number of these actually get into secondary market..which for some reason gets connected as the avg price of a ticket vs the vast majority that are face value.

You do know that the stadium will be 70/30 UGA. Looks like LSU fans think they're going to win so they're saving up for the playoff trip.

PSL holders don't get access to the SECCG and Im not sure about the suite holders.
LSU should have no problem getting access to tickets and it looks like even those that are in the season ticket alloment are
selling.Its very strange.
