Twitter: 2024 Georgia Football Schedule

Can't wait for UGA to go 12-0 in this schedule, get their QB hurt in final game and lose in the SECCG only for the committee to keep them out because of injuries.

"They're just not the same team" lmao.

Right, because playing 6 of 13 games against teams currently in the CFP Top 25 definitely compares to FSU's 2023 schedule.

A 12-1 team with a Top 3 resume playing their backup QB (who would probably be one of the top 2 incoming true freshmen QBs) would probably make a 12 team playoff. Just a wild guess.

Not at all the point of my post. The point of my post is that the committee, at their will, can render an entire seasons work worthless because of one injury. But I wouldn't expect you to be able to see through to that basic level understanding of prose.

In fact, you don't realize that I'm actually arguing that this schedule IS way harder than FSU's which is why it will be even more funny when they do all the hard work to go 12-0 and still get denied because of some dumb injury

I think they would make a 12 team playoff if that happens.

Sure didn't hurt the Texas raking when Ewers missed two games because of an injury did it? A little hypocrisy goes a long way with the committee.

One of the dumbest comments of all time. Texas finished their final 4 games with Ewers starting. The purpose of this post was joking about how the committee can't see past a team's most recent performance. God you are dumber than I thought!

But that isn't exactly what happened. The huge gap between their SOS and Bama's was the big reason. Its happened a lot over the years between teams with similar/better records. Everyone is just choosing to boohoo over poor FSU this year for some reason.

I see comprehension is not your forte. Texas loses their qb for two games, committee doesn't drop them in the polls. The committee has no idea if the kid will perform at the same level as before he was hurt but they don't hold it against Texas - which they shouldn't. FSU wins two games without their qb yet the committee says wait, they aren't going to be as good so let's drop them in the polls.

That is hypocrisy.

How do you even connect these two situations?

LSU pandering for a team that curb stomped them. Makes sense. Beta fan base.

Everyone is fixated on the injured QB. Injured or not Alabama had a better resume. It's not hard to understand unless you're willingly being stupid.

Alabama's top 2 wins are better than any team FSU played all year. The lone team Bama lost to is better than any team FSU played all year long.

Being unbeaten doesn't guarantee you a spot. Do you guys not watch college basketball? There are teams with better records that get worse seeds because of something called SOS. You get credit for playing tough games even if you lose.

FSU should be mad at Michigan. They played no P5 OOc teams. Played a 2 game schedule. Bama earned their playoff birth. Denying that is just being a petty hater.

The committee is supposed to put in the 4 BEST teams in their opinion. That's what they did. Where's the injustice?

These are the top SEC team records/rankings going into next year. OU plays all these teams next year except GA:

3) 12-1 Texas
4) 12-1 Alabama
6) 12-1 Georgia
9) 10-2 Missouri
12) 10-2 Oklahoma
11) 10-2 Ole Miss
13) 9-3 LSU
21) 8-4 Tenn

OU plays 6 ranked SEC teams. Plus #23 Tulane. 7 ranked teams on our schedule. Its going to be fun. SEC teams will all have more losses than normal so will still get 3-4 in playoffs most likely.

A tibia snapped in 2 that will keep Travis out of the playoffs = a mid October shoulder sprain that Ewers clearly recovered from in November?

Excellent post! Keep em coming

He didn't perform at the same level his first game back but progressively got better towards the end of the season.
