With UGA’s weak ‘23 schedule, you have a good chance. A&M has been in SEC and UGA yet to play????
They played in 2019 in Athens. Adding the Aggies doesn’t exactly boost a team’s SOS either.

Didn’t Alabama win the SEC in 2014, 2015, and 2016?

Update: topic title lacked a bit of clarity and inferred “Football title in the SEC” meant “SEC conference title”

NCAA doesn’t recognize either. They don’t recognize championships preBCS

Their website says otherwise

Oklahoma could claim 1954 as well. They were undefeated but did not go to a bowl game because of the no repeat clause with Orange Bowl.
They finished 3rd but could certainly claim it as well.
That would give them a three peat.

I am sure if it was Bama they would claim it.

I think people debate a third or so of Alabama national title claims.

The only debated one is 1941.

Georgia’s 2023 schedule is not their fault. The SEC made them drop Oklahoma.

Plus every year is different. Missouri almost beat Georgia in 2022. They could very well lose a game or two in 2023. WTF’s happen and eventually someone is going to beat them.
And when one team beats it makes it easier for the next team to beat them. That could easily happen to Georgia in 2023.

I wish we would claim titles like y’all pretend we do. Anything in the poll era is ALL only AP/Coaches/BCS/CFP

Other than that 1941 bullshite. Hate that one

Otherwise, show us just ONE school that doesn’t claim Ap/Coaches poll titles from pre BCS era. There aren’t any

Why not just go by NCAA.com's list? Isn't that easiest? And NO, it's not beneficial to Georgia, because they don't claim Georgia's 1942 title on there.
