We’ll, that’s not true.

Oregon
MState
South Carolina
Tennessee

Ftr, I don’t think it will be a blowout, but for those that want to point to the Kent State, and Missouri games….why don’t you compare the Tennessee game? Because we all know how accurate transitive property is.

So an Arkansas fan starts a troll thread and you get offended at Georgia fans. Perfect reasoning.

Remind me which tough road games LSU has played?
Or are you saying LSU has had an easy path? I honestly have a hard time following some LSU fans logic.

Tennessee ran for 263 yards, 5.37 ypr, and 2 rushing TDs against LSU. UGA held them to 94 yards, 2.24 ypr, and they ran one in during the 4th quarter with 4:15 left on the clock down by 3 TDs.

You’re comparing how LSU did versus Tennessee to how Georgia did against Tennessee? What part of “aside from Georgia obviously, LSU probably did a better job of defense against Tennessee than anyone else did” do you not understand? Read what’s written before responding and it will make for a better exchange of opinions.

Nope. Georgia has been playing below their potential since the Tennessee game, and Bennett has been playing like he's hiding an injury. I expect this to be a nail biter, hoping it's the get right game going into the CFP.

I think UGA covers but if you wanna play them anywhere it’s Atlanta.

Georgia has played down to their competition this year so it's possible it could be close even though LSU lucked it's way into it. If Jefferson played they would have been blown out by Arkansas like they were by aggys

Let me make my point better.
UGA
PITT
ALABAMA
KENTUCKY
& SOUTH CAROLINA
all played Tennessee better than LSU.

LSU is a middle of the road rush defense in the SEC.

He'll, UT Martin and Ball St both held Tennessee below 5 yards a carry (but got blown up in the red zone).

You can only tell so much from looking at numbers. A few long runs inflate YPC and a few sacks kill it. To
Show how misleading stats can be, LSU had more yards than Tennessee at half, but were losing 23-7 because of special teams mistakes and missed 4th down conversions. I guess we’ll see how average LSU is Saturday.

Arkansas SEC Championship History:

1995: L to UF 3-34
2002: L to UGA 3-30
2006: L to UF 28-38

That's an awful lot of L's to be talking shite, big pimpin.

This true for every team.
Hell... you have Perkins. Your rushing numbers should be so much better because of junior out there at outside linebacker.

You rank 6th or 7th in just about every rush defense category.
You play an outside linebacker on the field in all circumstances (sometimes, you probably need the extra DL. Sometimes you probably need the extra S/CB).
Your secondary coverage is a dead giveaway every snap because of Perkins on the field.

Kent State - 22

UGA - 26

You listed UGA scores against some teams with 5 or more losses.

But how did UGA do against teams with 4 losses or less?

UGA - 49
#16 Oregon (9-3) - 3

UGA - 48
#19 SC (8-4) - 7

UGA - 27
#7 UT (10-2) - 13

UGA - 45
#24 MSU (8-4) - 19

UGA has shown themselves to be the type of team to play down to bad opponents. They've also shown themselves to be the type of team to beat down the better teams they face.

LSU is one of the better teams.

Sorry.

No matter what happens tomorrow, LSU fans are pretty happy at this point. Most of us were expecting 6 or 7 wins.

Maybe so, but Kelly is the FOURTH consecutive coach to take LSU to a SECCG and he did it in year one. I would say the odds are pretty good that he ends up being the FOURTH consecutive coach to win a NC. Y’all should all be deathly afraid of what’s about to occur in BR.

You probably aren’t wrong. Kelly needs some pieces together and could probably do it. I’ve always said LSU is arguably the best job in the country with the in state talent and 0 competition.

I know the majority of the SEC can't keep up with our academics, but upon last check we've faced 4 teams currently in the Top 25 and all 4 teams got gruesomely murdered.

I think we got very fortunate with our draw this year. We played like shot in the road all year, we were just lucky enough to have an easier road schedule. Offensively we played awful at Auburn, At Arkansas, and obviously at A&M. Hell we even played bad at the neutral site vs FSU.

The only road game I'd say we played well in was against Florida.

I don’t have a problem with LSU. I just thought it odd that an LSU fan was saying we had been untested and used our road schedule as proof.
