So,he sucks against bad schools, but is good against good schools? Seems odd.

Oklahoma lost to Iowa State and almost lost to Baylor.
Chubb and Michel may run for 400 yards on those fricking losers

Mike sucks against spread teams. He doesn't suck against offenses like you find in the SEC. Your offenses are more in his wheelhouse.

Oh look Daniel the fired racist is back flapping his gum chewer about an SEC team that isn't his.

We spread it out a good bit this season. Especially when teams were playing tight to the LOS to stop the run between the tackles. We can still run effectively out of that package.

Serious post, Oklahoma is an odd team. They have some impressive big wins against top 25 teams and have sucked against mediocre and bad teams this year. If they didn't do that, they'd look a lot like Clemson this year (outside of losing to Syracuse, which I don't care if Kelly Bryant was hurt, that's not a good game...and really why I think this season is a lot like 2007, no one stands out).
This actually is likely to be the best playoff matchups we've seen yet because of the parity. The first round has been mostly boring to start out.

Let me disclaimer that I think Iowa State is actually pretty decent this year, despite their 7-5 record.
Both Georgia and Auburn actually use a lot of the Art Briles smashmouth spread, except the throwing is used to set up a lot of run, unlike what we saw Baylor did. I'm not on my laptop, but if someone cares to, they oughta post that article, it's a good read.

It's a hard game to predict for sure. Clashing styles and all....plus this isn't a series, it's one game between 18-22 year olds after having +4 weeks off. Not sure how so many are confident in predicting the outcome.
The time off would normally favor the running team but that's just one aspect.
OU doesn't really run an air raid offense. They are very balanced. 56% run plays.

Watch what Iowa State does next season. Campbell is doing the same thing in Ames that he did at Toledo.

Going 7-5 in the Big 12 makes you absolute garbage.

It's a very common misperception. Those teams with Perine and Mixon ran for close to 250 per game.
I've said all along I think the biggest key for Georgia's defense is to stop the run and make OU one dimensional. It sounds counterproductive when that one dimension is very good, but I always think back to those Florida/Tennessee games when it was Wuerffel vs Manning. Florida won those games because Tennessee couldn't run the ball at all. Oklahoma's offense is really good but they're absolutely unstoppable when they get Anderson and Sermon going.

You should know. That's what ATM did in the BIG XII and it's what you're doing now in the SEC.

Yeah... so I'm not typing all that shite out to quote it... here is the meat of the fail in that post:
TCU plays in the offense heavy Big 12... and yet we're going to rank them based on their *rushing defense* for the sake of making it seem as though they are better than they seem on the surface. TCU is the #4 defense in rushing defense... interesting. I wonder if that's because they are in the Big XII where there are not many great rushing attacks or if it could be something else. I mean, we've been explicitly told here that UGA's pass defense is not as good as it seems because we don't face great passing offenses. Let's look at the S&P+ rankings of the rushing offenses that TCU faced: Avg: 56... so an average Rushing S&P+ that is on par with one of the worst Florida teams fielded in a decade. Even with our "dreadful East schedule" this year, UGA faced an average of about 43 overall.
As to the sack totals... it's two fold. 1) Our defense isn't really predicated around sacks... Kirby has said as much since before the season started. 2) We've played an inordinate amount of mobile/run-first quarterbacks this season, not to mention we play in a league that averages roughly half the total number of passing attempts as the Big XII...
TCU has been good at most things defensively this year... except one MAJOR problem in the Big XII... Explosiveness. IsoPPP+.
They ranked 126 out of 130 programs in this category. That's a pretty big problem in a conference that largely makes its hay on big plays.

They took advantage of us having 6 starters out of the game.
...no one expected Oklahoma Heisman candidate Baker Mayfield to be out-quarterbacked by a journeyman senior and a converted linebacker.
Senior quarterback Kyle Kempt and Iowa State gashed the Sooners’ defense in the second half and held on late to pull off the biggest upset of the 2017 season so far with a 38–31 win in Norman, toppling one of the Big 12’s two unbeaten teams and shaking up the playoff picture.
Kempt was thrust into the spotlight after Iowa State announced on Friday night that starter Jacob Park was taking a leave of absence due to "personal health issues." Kempt, who had thrown just two passes as a Cyclone after starting his college career at Oregon State and transferring to Hutchinson Community College, put up 343 yards and three touchdowns through the air, including the game-winning 25-yard strike to Allen Lazard with 2:19 to play.

No at all.
Would much prefer UGA offense in finals when only given ~week to to instill a gameplan.
UGA D obviously much stronger, but the power run oriented O is a better match up for Bama, especially with short prep window. Plus, I think UA likely already has a shell for a game plan that would have been prepped before the iron bowl.

Heisman curse. UGA has blowout win.

Assuming Bama makes it. I'm not too sure that's gonna happen.
