Kirby’s UGA defenses have been reminiscent of pre-2015 Saban defenses along the front 7, which isn't particularly surprising considering he was working for Saban that whole time. The down linemen on the interior are mostly there to control the LoS and occupy running lanes. The OLBs are the ones who get after the QB. The NFL values the latter much more than the former.

Very possible there will be 2-3 next year, add in edge rushing OLBs and it could be 4-5.
