We might upset Bama but we definitely won't beat the snot out of them. I'm expecting a highly competitive fairly low scoring contest. The better defense and how well they match up against the opposing offense will win this game. Our defense gave up a lot of yards and points to OU but then again Bama's offense is not a prolific as Oklahoma's. Our offense scored a lot of points vs OU but Bama's defense is a lot better than the Sooner defense. It should be an interesting game.

I never said that BoboBall is the way to score on Bama. Just point out that they did. Are you saying that Saban plays down to their competition?
Every team does at times during the season.

CSU pulled out 13 points at some point in the 4th quarter. Makes me nervous about what Georgia is about to do to them

We will beat the snot out of them because we will stop their offense.

Auburn beat them and we killed auburn. Bama has proven they don't play well on the road like at auburn a d this will be an away game in the worst way.

I don't discount Bama's ability to be able to prepare adequately for the game, but I have to imagine that the Georgia crowd in the dome is going to be absolutely bonkers. I'd imagine that that has to factor in somehow. Plus, like others have said, there's 38 years of pent-up frustration on behalf of the program that flows through this team.

You both played them at Jordan-Hare, and it took a really bizarre drive with Hurts and Co. playing poorly (unforced fumbles) but Alabama was always in that game.

Georgia, on the other hand, got ran out by the third quarter and you guys had to score in garbage time to not make it 40 - 10. Same stadium, same atmosphere, Alabama at least looked competent.

This is the "Tiger Stadium at Night" argument we here from LSU fans. Our "Dome Away From Home". Bama will represent and it will not be a partisan crowd or a UGA home game. Besides, the fans don't play the game.

I know better than to think we will just knock Alabama all over the field, that ain't happening. I'm not overly confident in Georgia winning myself, it's not impossible but it will probably take a break or two along with playing their best game of the season.

Bama is still Bama, they aren't going to just lay down.

Georgia may well win the game, but nobody will "beat the snot" out of Alabama

Wait a minute. Sorry for the typo, I meant Bama is going to beat the snot out of Georgia.

Carry on.

They actually shoved the ball right down UGAs throat. Hey diddle diddle, straight up the middle!

And UGA is built to stop what Bama does best. Your point?

To paraphrase Seinfeld, it's like two magicians trying to impress each other:

"Look, a rabbit!"

"Big deal, is this your card?"

The offenses that have given us the most fits are those that have wrinkles that move away from downhill running, smashmouth football. That isn't Bama's M.O.

The under opened at 45....Take it...QUICKLY!

Good news. They announced middle schools are closed all across Alabama Monday so Alabama fans can bring their wives to the game.

They did the same in Georgia, but it was the Elementary schools.....

UGA’s run defense is a poor mans Alabama run defense. Don’t pretend otherwise

This is probably right, but Georgia's passing game is good enough to keep Bama's ears from being laid back.

Georgia doesn't match up well with Alabama, as people have pointed out. I think its a 3-10 point game that bama wins.

our run d didn't look great against oklahoma, and there's a good chance our oline gets manhandled.

hope i'm wrong, but I think we're a couple years off true eliteness. amazing season either way.

I kinda don't get the 38 year thing. If you're still talking about a championship 10 years ago, that's just as pathetic as talking about one 40 years ago, imo. now is all that matters.

Against a passing team like that, you've got to give up some of your run defense....something that won't be a problem against Alabama...but I do think your O-line will be in for a long day.
If you're a betting man, take the under (45).

Don't they divide the tickets evenly between the teams? I would expect a 50/50 split, or close to it.
