The mighty Auburn Tigers have won 3 out of the last 13 vs. UGA
Auburn hasn’t won in Athens since 2005.
Auburn has had three 10 win seasons in the last decade.
In case you forgot: UGA won the SEC championship over the mighty Auburn Tigers. UGA then beat a damn good Oklahoma team in the Rose Bowl (you remember...the same day Auburn wasn’t man enough to beat a group of five school in Atlanta). UGA played a healthy Alabama team in national championship game in overtime with a freshman QB. UGA just signed the number one recruiting class in the country.

The good news is that Georgia didn't win the NCG and really looked in complete disarray in the second half. Kirby didn't know to deal with Tua (Georgia fans say it's because he didn't have tape, but I think Saban just worked Kirby).
The bad news is that this is exactly the type of loss a young coach needs to realize that he needs to wake up and do things differently, which is what I fear the most. Meyer was famous for taking chances, Saban just took a huge chance bringing in an otherwise untested Freshman in the goddamn NCG.
Kirby now understands that to win it all, he's going to need to do more than line up and play -- and now he might understand it completely. We hope he's just stubborn, but if he isn't Georgia will be a serious threat.

Was a once in a Generation type thing for Georgia to play for a NC. Will be another 25-30 years before they get that chance again.
