Georgia doesn’t have two National Championships. They have one.

How’d your first National Championship game in a Generation work out for you? You know the game where you told me we were going to get beaten in a conclusive manner?

Georgia fans that think last season wasn’t an anomaly and will be in the playoff every year are delusional. It was literally a once in a generation/lifetime event.

4 starters including 1 1st round draft prospect didn't play the 2nd half...especially the point in the 4th quarter where uga went from 7 quarters of similar Offensive production to 1 quarter where they tripled that average production per quarter.

Don’t know what? That Georgia hasn’t won a National Championship since 1980 and most their fans weren’t even born yet? Georgia isn’t a perennial NC contender. Never has been. That isn’t going to change.

No, they're ridiculing you for your tiny penis and rare cerebral diarrhea condition. You just give me the names and addresses of the ones who say your threads are bad and I'll go beat them up for you. That's just libelous.

I'm not a Georgia fan and I think it wasn't an anomaly. I don't think they'll be in the playoffs every year, mind you, because that is once in a generation/lifetime event, and reasonable Bama fans will agree.

You'll usually have an indicator of if whether a coach can potentially get it done or not and we simply haven't had that indicator with Kirby Smart, yet with either way.

It's nothing silly like anything historical, frick that, it's an indicator with how they the coach does themselves. The indicator that Mark Richt probably wasn't going to get it done despite elevating Georgia back out of obscurity was West Virginia, 2006.

You'll likely see it in the next three years, if Kirby doesn't get it done in this period and has a bad loss like WV, he's likely heading down the Mark Richt, 2.0 path.

Your hypothesis ( look it up ) is flawed. I can't remember your research at all.

And? Neither was Miami and FSU when they began their runs. Clemson has made the playoffs 3 straight years now (will likely this year as well) and they don’t have a history. Smart seems to have them on the right path. Just like I 100% they will be competitive, you 100% don’t know they won’t be competitive.

While your argument is sound -- claims require evidence, no question about it -- the comparison is fatuous. Simply coaching at UGA doesn't imply he's in any way comparable to Richt in any aspect other than the strictly literal (i.e. they have both held the same position at the same university.) Other than the strictly literal, I honestly can't find many points of comparison between the two over the courses of their respective careers. Kirby has a significantly different approach and background from Richt.

So, yes, I concede it's generally just opinion, which I indicated by using the word 'think.' But your opinion, especially including the proscriptivist final sentence, isn't any better. I'd argue it's worse because Kirby has already accomplished something Richt never did in terms of success. I won't be shocked if Kirby fails, because, well, coaching at this is a hectic, unpredictable affair for everyone not named 'Nick Saban' and success/failure can hinge on any number of unforeseen or even unavoidable factors. But what I've seen so far suggests to me that Kirby has a better chance of success than most.

But Auburn is? The same Auburn that has only won 3 out of the last 13 games against UGA? Auburn logic amazes me.
