He says there’s no excuse to not have a serviceable QB by now. He said Bama is the closest talent wise in the country, and they have had QBs transfer and do well at other schools, and they can’t even get one to hand the ball off 2/3 of the time and throw 1/3 good enough to win a title.

Why would anybody care what a night stocker at Walmart thinks or wants?

I have all the respect in the world for those who are able to tolerate and work with the mentally challenged on a daily basis.

Oh. Well, if that one fan at your job wants him fired, then I don't see what is stopping it.

He's not wrong but Kirby's recruiting and roster management alone make him a better coach than Mark Richt who was probably our best coach up to that point in time.

He isn't wrong. Look at what Saban got out of John Parker Wilson and Greg McElroy in 2008-2009. The word "serviceable" literally defines those two.

And you can make the same indictment of Pruitt.

Georgia fans that think that way should proceed with caution. Wanted Richt gone and was replaced by Richt 2.0 but with more talent surrounding him. Also, see Tennessee for the "grass is greener" coaching carousal.

Also, it's not all about recruiting. Any QB in Athens should be able to be coached up enough on the practice field to become "serviceable". I'll come back to my main point. AJ McCarron, Blake Sims, Jacob Coker, Jalen Hurts, and Tua Tagovailoa all arguably had more talent than Greg McElroy, yet McElroy is the only one with an undefeated season. And he didn't have multiple first-round WRs or an NFL TE to throw to.

And Fromm was more than serviceable, better than both and now in the NFL but should have stayed all 4 years like both of those guys.

He left, Newman quit and Fields transferred. We're down to the 4th choice...good luck with the 4th choice at any school

Don't be ragging on my hangover place Peter. The kernel knows what he is doing when it comes to grease and yard bird.

There’s no excuse for not having a 3rd string QB able to beat multiple top 10 teams? Newman left and JTD wasn’t ready. Any other team that loses their first and second string QB’s would also be screwed.
