Here is the link from the ABH:

LINK

It's being discussed in the UGA section, but I still don't have access there.

One poster referred to the DB as a "minor". Minor is under 18 for civil purposes and 17 for criminal purposes in GA.

The per se limit for someone under 21 in GA is .02. That's why the charge is listed as such in the booking report. It does not mean that his BAC was .02; just that his BAC exceeded .02.

Based on the booking report, he didn't have his headlights on, he made an illegal turn, and he was using a cell phone at the time. All of that was the probable cause for the stop.

He also didn't have his license on his person. The underage possession charge is for the alcohol in his bloodstream (and possibly closed containers in the vehicle).

He got his money's worth though! 4:57 in the morning with with 6 different citations and a bunch of people in the car. If it has to happen you might as well do it right!

How about a player, nor anyone for that matter, not drive drunk?

If you’re under 21 in Georgia you can literally drink a Coors Light and be DUI.

Not at GA just for a DUI and 6 citations. That’s not the player’s fault, it’s the fault of the PD, the car for not having auto lights, and anything else they can blame!
