Nobody, and I mean nobody, plays special teams like the Auburn Tigers.

What is this mythical “perfectly placed pass” thing you speak of? It’s been like a decade or longer since we’ve had those.
Sure seemed they had become illegal or something.

That is insane, even common Football fans know you never field a ball that close to your goalline...you would think Returners are taught that..

Yeah, I don't know anything about Auburn's team.

Georgia pass rush vs Auburn pass protection: The resistable force meets the movable object

Rushing 3 allows ample time for QB pedicures.

Apparently if Auburn, UGA and UF returners are doing it then it's a trendy, trend. We attempted it on the 2, AU did it on the 1. We will try to break the record and fair catch one on the 1 foot line.

Rushing 3 is false bravado. We can rush 5, get stonewalled, and still allow QB pedicure.

This is the best thread I’ve seen in a while.

It is so different these days.
In the old model, you sort of could memorize the roster, follow players through their progression from redshirt freshmen to special teams player to spot duty on offense or defense and to full time starter, etc.
Now with the portal and NIL, every year is a brand new team for the most part.
I used to could name every player on the two deep. Now it’s harder with all the movement.
Eventually, all but the most successful teams will have a harder time filling seats for the corporate commercial gameday.
I’ve gone from season tickets to only watching when it’s convenient for me.
I used to plan my fall weekends around Auburn football. Now it’s not a priority.
It will be interesting to see IF the sports bubble pops with the next generation.

I know less about this season’s UGA team than any since probably the early 90s.

Well, they are gonna unload the JH night voodoo thing and we are lucky not to be 1-2 in SEC. If they are gonna beat us, this would be the year.
