Is this where we all sit around the rant and praise the preseason poll? When my kids were small they used to have all these look-at-me moments too.

I see at least two losses on Georgia's schedule

We'll be favored in both barring significant injuries

Georgia has lost 8 out of last 9 to Alabama. Six of those games under Kirby. But hey, keep looking ahead to a game not on your schedule

is there anyone else that has been involved in those games that was fairly important? can't seem to remember.

I think Texas needs to be in that conversation too. And if I didn't know Ole Miss' DC, I would throw them in there too. They are going to be a handful

It is unlikely UGA or any team in the SEC or in the FBS in general goes 4 years with no regular season losses given that UGAs current regular season winning streak is at 12 games more than the second-best regular season winning streak ever in FBS history. UGA is bound by fate to lose a regular season game again someday....one loss ain't keeping UGA out of a 12 game playoff, depending on when a second loss occurs odds are pretty good that 2 will not. UGA could very will lose 9 of 10 to the Tide and 7 of those 9 could be Kirby Smart's loss....that loss alone would not keep UGA out of a 12 game playoff and a spot in that is the goal for everybody in CFB.

The way that some Alabama fans here are working so hard to convince themselves that the greatest coach in history can retire but Alabama will still be just as dominant moving forward and it will be business as usual is entertaining to read.

Why would a loss have any impact?

Because then they wouldn't be on a collision course anymore according to the media and their love for cliches

Only 1 and it would be considered an upset if it happens

They should drop that game in as game 1 for the 2025 season.

I hate all of this fricking playoff shite. It makes everything so boring.

I'm at an all time low in preseason excitement. And I lived through the Chaggy Morris years.

Their WR shouldn't have gotten hurt then. Or they should have developed depth behind that guy.

UGA plays OSU game 3 of the 2030 season (in Athens) and game 1 of the 2031 season (In Columbus). So 5 years later, but it's on the schedule at least.

Disingenuous thread of the subtle brag type.
