If Blaylock is going to be back for fall camp, then he and Jermaine Burton will be the deep threats.
TBH- We are pretty loaded at that position, but man I hate losing Pickens is the injury is true.

Jermaine Burton becomes WR1
Blaylock should returning from his second knee blowout. Jackson should be a bigger factor. And Rosemary Jack Saint or some such showed flashes.
If Blaylock needs time then depth will be a huge issue. Otherwise they should be ok.

He could possibly make it back in time for the season though right?
No way to rehab a ACL that quick

Don't forget about A. Smith.

Hate to see kids from Alabama who are close to making it big have something like this happen to them. Hope he fully recovers and have little doubt he will with today's medical knowledge.

True, I guess I forget about him because he shows up on the field wide open and they QB misses getting him the ball.

Stinks for him, but Bama didn't miss a beat losing Waddle in the middle of the season. Georgia has talent as well, plus several months to prepare their WR corp. They'll be fine.

We aren’t exactly loaded and you didn’t even mention our biggest deep threat.

Injured and high character risk? Maybe

I remember that guy standing out to me when UGA played Bama. Pickens, not so much.

Hate that for the kid. It was a dirtbag move what he did to Auburn, but can’t blame the kid for Bowl Cut coming in hot with the 75 large. He’s an All-SEC talent.

He's a star receiver for sure.
He's also a fricking nutjob. Will be interesting to see if he can keep it together and play up to his potential.

Decommitted from a losing program and committed to a winning one. Nutjob?

Any different than Darius Slayton?

can't imagine he will play this season. He could be back in December or January, but unless UGA is in the playoffs
Even if he could physically get on the field he would not be the same player for a mother year or so. I have not seen a player yet with reconstructive knee surgery that came back as string the first year as they were prior to injury. Moses and Hightower come to mind.

Kids a prick, karma at its finest.

Darius Slayton was about to go to JUCO because he didn’t have the grades in place, and then swapped to Auburn who magically fixed his grades and got him qualified?
