The only bad thing Pickens did is not succeed in slamming that piece of shite's head through the wall. Swilling swung at Pickens first and hit him in the facemask.

It would have been much better if Pickens shoved one of those bricks down Swilling’s throat and made him eat it.

Since you so classlessly brought it up, Tech defenders game planned to try and get Pickens removed from the game.

And why would they believe they could do this? Why pick on him thinking he would throw a punch? And it worked.

Pickens was the one that squirted water on Gitmo for a pretty stupid penalty.

Million dollar talent .10 brain. Another Wilson from UGA.

You get that crap stopped on the practice field and in the locker room. It showed up there first.

Typical butt hurt nerd. Swilling started it, per coaches game plan, Pickens finished it. Kinda like you nerds talk shite for about 5 mins at the start of COFH games, then get your arses kicked and sleek away in silence.

He could possibly make it back in time for the season though right?
I’m pretty sure it takes more than 6 months to record from a torn ACl surgery

Since you so classlessly brought it up, Tech defenders game planned to try and get Pickens removed from the game. Anyone watching replays could see the dirty shots against him. Not many, if any, players would not have retaliated. And the play that got him in trouble was one where the defender threw a shot and Pickens was defending himself. The ref, as per usual, only saw the second part.

So what you're saying is Pickens has trouble controlling his emotions on the field, and Tech knew that. Yes, the Tech player should have been ejected as well if he wasn't, but you're wrong when you say anyone would have retaliated like that. Most players don't just start throwing haymakers in that situation. The ones that can't control themselves get ejected like Pickens did.

Damn. Hate to see any player go down like that, and especially one of the more exciting players to watch in the SEC. I was honestly really looking forward to that Burks v. Pickens matchup, round 2, this year.

Hope he heals up quick and this doesn't hinder his professional career, because dude's definitely a first round talent.

This sucks he was gonna be a key asset to that offense, it's good it happened this early though, will give him more time to heal and potentially play later in the year

Absolutely hate seeing kids get hurt like this. And being so early in spring practice it was probably a non-contact injury which are freak accidents.

Who's the most likely guys to step up in his place?

That's ok. He'll still find a way to impact football games. He'll be sure to get a few personal fouls from the sideline every once in a while. He's that good.

Damn man, that sucks for the young fella. Hope for a speedy recovery.

He basically single handily beat Mizzou last year. He was a monster in that game.

You have any eligibility left? Vols could probably use you this year.
