Gator Fans: Do you like Mike Bianchi?

I remember reading a year or two ago his article about Meyer leaving the cupboard bare in Gainsville, before a Sugar Bowl 11-1 regular season, and his latest gem about Meyer being a white Doc Rivers.
Do you think he is overall a good blogger/reporter, or is he kind of just a blowhard? I ask because obviously the only articles that make it to Buckeye sites are ones where he is bashing Meyer.

No. I do not. And despite what you might hear to the contrary, I speak for all UF fans.

Fair weather reporter, when things are going good he is all Gator, when things are going bad he is anti-Gator.
I don't care about him bashing Meyer, he left a mess at UF and some of the problems UF had during his time are still surfacing. Good Luck with him at OSU. I would bet that success will be fleeting.
Saban literally made him quit and if he faces him again as some think will happen this year, will probably make him quit again.

IMO you have to take Bianchi for what he is, which is (IIRC a self-admitted) troll to get you to click his page. He's not a dumb guy, but his job is not to trade in accuracy or truth, just controversy.

He trolls and incites on purpose. It's his job. I don't like him either way. His voice is freaking annoying.
He was right about Meyer though.

Not a gator but he was turrible at the Florida times union when I was a kid and turrible when he makes appearances on local sports radio. Now that I think about it he sucked at the Orlando sentinel when I was out of town
He's the epitome of someone who escaped the shitburg of interlachen

Sounds like Florida's Finebaum

Mike Bianchi probably gets winded walking to the bathroom, yet he thinks he's the Knight Templar of the Heisman Trust.

Except Bianchi is not a sidewalker like Finebum

I always like to hear more about this UF situation after he left. His last recruiting classes are now Juniors and Seniors right? They had 2 mediocre years before that with the coaching changes etc (somewhat to be expected). There are also the things about the "inner circle" with guys he coddled etc.
Do you think those are problems a guy can fix, or do you think it's too engrained in the way he is to change them? If he won OSU 2 national titles in a 5 year span, then left, I'm not sure how they, the OSU fanbase, would react. I would think of him as a complete success

He complained about dirty recruiting and then we all heard the rumors of his antics.
He didn't care about the character of the young men he was recruiting at all it seemed.
He won't have to do that at OSU to win the conference so he may be OK.
He misses his family though so he may not be there long.
