I will need to see proof of this

I said he wasn’t playing week 1. Can you read MillerLiteTime or have you already had too many?? When he plays in week 2 he will be the backup and will be used in certain packages like Lynn Bowden. Terry Wilson is 12-3 as a starter. You fools are in for a rude awakening by underestimating him.

Another disbeliever about Kentucky.

We love being underestimated.

I’m just reporting what is being said by a UK insider on the rivals board that is rarely wrong. Hard to believe he would dream that up and put his name on it. Sounds logical to me.
Yeah I mean who would say fake stuff on the internet behind anonymous usernames. Clearly he has so much at stake with all 8 Kentucky football fans

UK doesn’t need Gatewood to beat Auburn.

The guy who reported it isn’t anonymous. He works for rivals.

Not saying what he said is true or isn’t true, but he posts under his real name and is paid by Rivals.

I don't think it's that far fetched. Auburn could have been a-holes and not given him his release to any SEC teams. It seems Auburn bent over backwards to let Joey go to another SEC team. Missing one game, the opener to boot, doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice for UK.

Exactly. And Gatewood is not going to start anyway unless Wilson gets hurt, and maybe not then. Sawyer Smith was leading UK to a blowout against Florida before he broke his wrist late in the game.

If Wilson is injured and Gatewood is the next best QB, Is Gatewood allowed to play per the “agreement” or is KY required to play the third string QB and quite possibly a walk-on? What if the game is tight and KY needs a score? Can’t see either program agreeing to this.

If anybody knows how to play Gatewood, it’s Auburn and Stoops knows that. Not to mention Stoops probably thinks the game will be little too emotional for Gatewood and that’s not a good starting point.

I think it’s an easy agreement. Auburn should be commended for being so helpful in the transfer getting immediate playing time elsewhere as well.

Just wondering if shite hits the fan doubtful KY wouldn’t play Gatewood. It probably will not, but this has been a very strange year. This is the best week one SEC matchup and it would add to the build up if he could play.

It's possible that Gatewood would not play against AU, if there is a gentleman's agreement.

But since he will be the backup, no way does he not go in, if the starting QB has to go out.
I feel that the agreement is off, if an injury occurs to the starting QB.

I mean, I’m excited about Gatewood. But Terry Wilson should be the starter at this point. He’s done well in practice and has recovered well. He’s earned it. I don’t know anyone who thought Gatewood would be starting over a recovered Terry Wilson.

Now if Wilson goes down, I’m sure that agreement probably goes out the window.
