Hopefully it works out better for LSU than the last time they got an sxtra home game
Didn't get an extra home game. Lost one, actually.

I have some family down in Houston and on top of the record rains, sinkholes, and tornados, they are having a problem with alligators too. It's just unbelievable. Like hell on Earth.
My daughter lives in Dickinson, between Houston and Galveston, texted me water was above their knees in their house and they are waiting to be rescued. All you can do is pray.

I wish I hadn't got rid of my flat bottom. And also that it wasn't basically a two day drive from here.
I think they're expecting another 20"+ of rain.

Thanks. We have a four month old grand daughter with her. Her husband is a trained fire fighter and EMT. That makes me feel a little better.

Many years ago when LSU played Neb. in the Sugar Bowl for the first time, walking down Bourbon, I saw this Cornhusker family, mom, dad, 3 early teens sons, all white hair cotton tops, holding hands & the look on their faces was one of complete disbelief. They had no clue as to what they were seeing. And this was only on the second block.

That is a pretty good example. We love going to the French Quarter. I can handle it about two days. It's like being in some kind of crazy movie. The characters are awesome.

Yeah I use to vacation in Nola and always stayed in the French Quarter. Had alot of fun everytime and for the first timers, its usually a culture shock.

They need to announce by tomorrow. Hotels, transportation arrangements are a pain on short notice.

At this point, I think the crowd is being treated more like a television studio audience. They want to play the game for TV reasons--the only reason they care if anyone shows up is that a game played to an empty house would look weird and hurt ratings. There is no scenario where they don't end up refunding 75% of the tickets already sold, and the only venue that was likely to produce a big walk up crowd looks like a no go thanks to the change in the storm's track. There's a certain logic to moving it far enough away that folks in the Houston area already holding tickets don't try to travel (they could play in College Station, but that would entice too many folks to try to travel through affected areas).

Alligators are no big deal. It's the big arse floating colonies of fire ants I'd be scared shitless of.
