Probably true, and I know it doesn't always work out, but some kids are almost a foregone conclusion. Pretty sure Brantley broke Tebow's TD record in HS, and if he wasn't the #1 overall QB prospect coming out, he was definitely the #1 pro-style QB. Those guys typically don't have people screaming for them to be pulled in their last game of their senior season.

Last year, it was a whole bunch of factors. Playmakers missing time (Rainey missed time for suspension), the coaching was subpar, JB seemed to have no confidence whatsoever. This year, I thought he did some good things, but the Bama injury set him back from really developing. He just might not be as good as advertised, it might be as simple as that.

this UF team is a joke. Muschamp is in over his head and the Jackass Urban Meyer did a pure shite job last year that will take a lot of time to clean up.

Didn't even think about that. Good point. Not to mention a complete stylistic switch as soon as you take the reigns.
