No offense but you are probably a low skill employee. My company hands out relo deals like candy if you have skills they want to use in another area. I have twice turned down relocation situations because of reasons (mainly I hate CA and wanted to stay out in TX).
re: What are your ties to LSU? Any legacy stories?

I grew up in NOLA area. I went there because I had a full academic scholarship and most of my HS friends went there. My sister went there as well. That is going to be about it for any of my family going there. My mom went to college somewhere else. My kids sure as shite are not going there living in Texas. My sister ‘s kids might go there since she still lives around NOLA area.

I am a rec coach in 10U soccer for my daughter. I’d believe this. The parents are the absolute worst. I’ve banned my parents from my own team from games before for trash talking kids on the same team. And this is a rec league. My son is on a club team and you still see that behavior.

I think I am on 6 bans for trolling Reddit. My last one was not even trolling. I called Dallas sports fans garbage and that got me banned.

Just be fully present for mother and child. It is draining but it is only temporary. Manage the grandparent situation too. We had to tell them to gtfo after a few days at home and no privacy with the first kid

re: First Trailer for Live-action 'Moana' | Disney

My daughter will for sure will be wanting to see this one. “Moana” is the greatest Disney princess movie since Tangled. The songs are awesome
My guess is this one got the remake treatment because Dwayne Johnson is close to being aged out of playing a live action role like that. Get in while he can do it I guess.

Same. I recall eating spaghetti noodles with ranch one time thinking it was awesome. Did it sober and it was arse.

re: Mavs went to nba finals then gave away their superstar to the lakers

I absolutely believe the idea that Mavs traded Luka to flagship media market in a handshake agreement so that they’d get to draft Cooper Flagg. The odds were 1.8% they get top pick. They did a few months after Luka trade.

That is a good investment for the new buyer. Good or bad, these kind of investments work out over a long enough period of time

My daughter and SIL live in Roanoke between Ft. Worth and Denton. Seems to me that the growth is in that direction. Argyle, etc.
Correct. The Northlake/Argyle/ west Flower Mound growth is insane.
I live in Southlake and work in Arlington for the last 12 years. To me, it is the same. Arlington was never a sought after place to live. The better areas were always south in Mansfield or north in Grapevine/Colleyville/Southlake.

re: "I always wanted one" did you ever fulfill this?
Posted by CunningLinguist on 2/11/26 at 2:53 pm to FLBooGoTigs1
I am wealthy enough to be able to buy any luxuries that I want within reason. I cannot afford a yacht or whatever but I have never stopped myself for self indulgent purchases. My biggest waste of money on myself is golf at this point in my middle aged life.

I am probably only person here to say this but I thought he was great in Rules of Attraction. That was a movie I loved that is generally reviled.
