conference realignment.
The sport is getting ready for a big shakeup due to tv deals and spending limits.
The big dogs of each conference are breaking off and making a few premium conferences, and the left out teams will shuffle into other conferences.
From what i hear, the new SEC split will look like this:
SEC
Alabama
LSU
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
OU
Tennessee
Aggie
Horns
Arky
ACC
Vandy
South Carolina
Big 10
Kentucky
Big 12
Mizzou
Miss State
Pac 12 or G5
Ole Miss
not sure about the additions or subtractions of other conferences

This game certainly feels like an audition for Ole Miss.. if they win they stay in.. but if they lose the writing is on the wall and they’ll be relegated.
