USCe should not be this bad. They deserve better than this.

I'll take the SEC road wins but I genuinely don't like this. Playing South Carolina shouldn't feel like a midweek game. This used to be such a good series. Really hope they right the ship soon.

I was born in '90. So many memories of Gamecock baseball would've started around 2000. My entire formative life was Gamecock baseball getting to 40 wins at worst and winning national titles at best. Even in our worst years, I was never worried about missing the NCAAT outright. From the time I was in middle school to the time I graduated college, we had been to 6 CWS, 4 finals, and 2 national titles. Even before those titles we had a really good early 2000s stretch of winning more games than any other team. I also happened to be at USC when we won those titles so I hold them particularly dear to my heart.
What's happened since then has been an abomination.
ETA: There was a time when we were easily the #2 baseball program (SEC all-time) behind LSU. It's been so long since we've done anything that even that can be disputed.

They gave us fits last week. Glad to see that's not a fluke. Their starting pitching did well every game last week.

I can’t tell if this camera angle at A&M is just weird or if this ump has a strike zone shaped like a trapezoid. Lot of weird strike calls both ways so far

AU/UT gonna be a boring game if you like offense. Pitchers have a combined 9 strike outs already through 2.5 innings.

Gaeckle is missing his spots by a mile but Carolina is swinging so all's well that ends well I guess.
