Yesterday's game was coached with this exact thing in mind. They clearly chose to save to top of the bullpen for today just incase there was a chance of playing both games.

I am sure in hindsight you could say pulling the pitcher sooner, or pinch hitting someone... but we were one out from getting out of that inning, and he wasnt getting tagged. Kingston probably pinch hits someone like Stone, who isnt much better. The flaw of Gamecock fans is they look to find something to be upset about. While some fanbases look to beat their chest no matter whats happening, we look to be upset no matter what

I’m ready for this series to be over so I never have to see these umps ever again
You guys thought all LSU fans (obviously some do it regardless) were bitching about the umps because we lost last night. That guy today was inept. No batter, pitcher or catcher could tell you what a strike was. The zone moved all freaking game.

Thats the only thing I don't like. Ill sit here and talk baseball all day with LSU fans, but this idea that we were purposely trying to run off LSU's starter when we were leading with our own ace (who was pitching better) is silly.

eta - I don't know when Williamson's last appearance was - but it would've been interesting to see him in the game instead of Austin. Cade's pretty laid back and Williamson seems to want to pick a fight with pressure situations.
