Actually, we're scheduled to play a double-header later today in Columbia.

12PM start for the first game. Second game 1 hr after the end of the first, weather permitting. Everyone was telling us up in the box tonight that if we get the first one in at noon we can go as late as 7Pm to get the 2nd one in.

It's not looking good but who knows.

Game can be called on Game 3 after 4½ innings.

What does USCe have left in the pen? Johnson’s choice to go backend of the pen and then to pull Morgan and Tanks tells me he likes their chances to take the double header tomorrow.

Looking forward to a big series with Georgia this weekend. Hopefully the weather down in Athens cooperates.

We're loaded.

If Johnson chose to go that route against our hitters in our ballpark against our rotation and our bullpen ... then he chose poorly.

That was a bad coaching decision for a weekend opener IF that was his strategy, he conceded when the tarp came out down only two runs. I seriously doubt it would have made any difference tonight ... maybe Johnson saw that from the get go and decided to save some arms, who knows - but he knows it's still going to be a battle.

Johnson was worried from the get go. He got a warning in the 1st and 2nd from the homeplate ump for something, we couldn't tell what it was, but he was literally yelling and screaming and challenging every play and every pitch from the opening toss.

I think perhaps Will caught them off guard early, then the fans got on him and he was unprepared for the hostile environment and was trying to redirect attention away from some of his kids ... it was just weird how he kept arguing with the 3rd base and homeplate umps almost from the get go.

I cannot remember ever seeing a skipper get two warnings in the first two innings before.

Gotcha, my bad.

So apparently they're already conceding that they'll get thenfirst one in early but not likely the 2nd one but, apparently Johnson and Kingston have agreed they'll play Game 3 on Saturday if the storm blows through tomorrow afternoon/night.

They both seemed pretty determined to get this entire series played provided it doesn't require a Sunday game.

He got a warning because that home plate ump was terrible. The strike zone has been shite most of conference play. Last night was bad.

I hope y’all keep the crying up all day. Never seen a more sensitive whiney fanbase of a #1 team in the country. Soft as baby doo doo

I've never seen a team tarp a field with no rain either...

That's pretty soft.

If tarping a field (being proactive) destroyed yalls mindset that easily then you're the soft one. I have great respect for LSU baseball program but when did the fans become so weak minded puss boys?

That is by rule. Teams who start the series on Thursday are not allowed to play past Saturday. I just learned that rule yesterday.

Proactive for what? Saturday's game?

You pulled a bitch arse stunt so you wouldn't have to face the #1 college pitcher anymore.

You'll say we lost our pitcher to, but your pitcher isn't half the pitcher of Skenes. It's why y'all have bitched about him all season.

We probably still wouldn't have won because your bats are damn strong, but shite man, at least play the game right.

We were beating the #1 pitcher 3-1 so there was no fear of him, in fact him not playing anymore probably saved his reputation. Our pitcher, Sanders, is picked to go in the first and the fact is he had pretty much shut your potent offense down. This are facts. LSU fans should know that right now all the regular season is for is placement in the post season. LSU will be in the hunt come postseason and may win it all. Getting this upset over 1 game shows a serious mental weakness. C'mon LSU fans you're better than that.
