Fortunately we have at least one veteran arm to throw, Gowen was all gas and aggression in relief for the two freshmen before him. Our young guys have talent, just don’t have that edge on the bump yet. Maybe by end of the year they’ll get their confidence up (I hope)

We are so wildly inconsistent at the plate, idk why I bother with this team. Combine that with inconsistency on the mound and it’s a real chore to watch these games (especially on the heels of the polar opposite last year).

4 UGA pitchers tonight, 3 of them freshmen.
Our catcher, 3B, and DH are all freshmen. Our 2B is a RJr playing his first season at UGA out of JUCO.
Wake me when we are older.

Now throwing a true sophomore with bases loaded and nobody out.
Like I said earlier, we are toast on Fridays. We pitch our 1 and 2 starters on Saturday-Sunday because they’ve been coming off injury
