Georgia just got really lucky on that throw to 3rd. Our baserunning has been retarded all year. Throw beat Chaney by a mile and it bounced twice.

Happens every damn year. Can't hit dudes throwing 85 to save our lives but you can bet on us embarrassing the best arms in the conference right after that. Did the same shite to Singer and Mize.

Big inning for A&M. Strung a couple hits together and then a dinger. 4-1 Ags.

Speaking of Mize, he made the rotation in Detroit this year.

fricking awesome.

Love hearing stuff like that. That's gotta be one of the quickest ascents into the majors for an SEC pitcher since Price right?

Dinger off the fricking foul pole, no less. We are toast on Fridays, just don’t have the offense necessary to support a freshman who hasn’t gained the confidence to pitch SEC batters yet.

4-2 Aggies Bot 4

Franklin with his 2nd solo shot of the day and it left zero doubt.

4-0 Hogs

Completely forgot about him.

On an opposite note, I looked up Ryne Stanek to see what he's done since leading Arkansas to one of the lowest team ERAs ever, he's got a career ERA of 6 on 31 total innings pitched since cresting into the Majors in 2016.

Kinda floors me he's struggled like that. He looked like he was about as "can't miss" as you can be coming out of college, but I guess a lot of that had to do with how dead the bats were when he played.

Sac fly makes it 5-0 Hogs in the top of the 4th.

I don’t think he tagged him first.

I don't either, but I think trying to tag to 2nd there was dumb in the first place so I'm cool with him being out on principle.

I'm also not entirely convinced Franklin's 2nd homer was fair so there's that too.

Words can't express how good it feels to be watching a competition with some real crowd energy behind it again.

Thank you Mississippi.

He’s an Astro now. He’ll be heavily relied on. Maybe even do some opening. Also, he’s got 170 plus innings.
