Well said, if we go the ACC, then claim the 1911, 1984, and 1985 championships we will get to celebrate championship football one last time before a 1000 years for darkness...

MSU and USC would be dumb to do this. The split revenue model in the sec plus tv is what keeps their athletic department above water (at least for MSU).
The Miami model sounds enticing but you actually have to make the playoffs and be able to recruit to get there in order to reap the benefits of the cash gained playing in playoff games.
