They didn't change the offense till last year. Joe looked good at the end of 2018 after having basically no offseason at Baton Rouge.

And now he’s gone.
Brady coached the receivers not Joe.

Brennan will be a flop.

Non pressure games, Jeremy Johnson looked like a heisman in the first half of an Arkansas game when Nick Marshall was suspended.
12-16 240 2tds in the first half. The game actually meant something.

Nearly all of you said Joe “Burrows” was going to suck, so you idiots don’t know anything. Myles will be one of the better qb’s in the SEC next year.

Okay?
Did I miss the part where Brennan has to suck just because your guy did?

So you predicted Joe would win the heisman? I’m sure you predicted 50-7 as well.

Nope, you missed the part where I said his clean up stats don’t matter.

Good job! So tell me what will happen next season... I would love to know.

No offense to Brennan, but I remember hearing the exact same thing come out of ESPN analysts about Brandon Harris. Tight Spirals are awesome till they fly over your receiver’s head, bounce 5 feet in front of them, or end up 4 feet behind them. On another note, I think Brennan will be fine. Before he leaves, it wouldn’t shock me to see him make all conference, which would be awesome.

Different coach. Different situation. Totally different offense. No comparison.
That’s like saying, “Wayell... Spencer Pennington was terrible at Alabama. That automatically means Mac Jones will suck too.”

Won 10 games in 2018 dumbass. 15 games & a natty next yr. Gumps are going to act like the Democratic party if they lose next yr in Tiger stadium. Can't wait.

It will be an interesting QB battle, and it’s certainly nice to have our “problem”
In the past I would have agreed with you. In today’s era of transfer quarterbacks I’m not so sure. It puts coaches in an interesting spot - do you cave into the trend, and start the guy with more upside to keep him around? Or do you start the guy that can win now?
Saban doesn’t strike me as someone who will let an 18-year-old kid force his hand, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Cause none of those other attributes matter at all.
