"All I know is Myles Brennan can spin it. He can throw the football," Bobby Hebert said. "Watching Myles Brennan purely throwing the football... I'm not talking about playing the quarterback position. I'm talking about purely throwing the football. [Brennan] can throw better than Joe Burrow, Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill. And look what we think of the quarterbacks, the talent we have with the Saints."
Hebert said while there may be other unknowns about Brennan's game, his pure passing ability is off the charts.
"I'm not talking about all the intangibles - how tough you are, how you can ad-lib," Hebert said. "I'm just talking about when you're going play pitch and catch on the field or in the back yard. I'm talking about just throwing the ball. That - he's unbelievable."

Well when LSU plays the Hardy Boys in a Lake Charles backyard, we’ll look for him to be the MVP.

Surely he can't be any worse than what you're running out there

Ah, the off-season. Where every team’s next QB looks to be NFL Pro-Bowl caliber based on “insider” reports

O on Brennan last year

quote:

If there was any player who could be called "elite" during LSU football's offseason workout program, coach Ed Orgeron said, it would be backup quarterback Myles Brennan.

quote:

"I saw something in the Fourth Quarter from Myles," Orgeron said ?Thursday evening, following the first practice of spring football. "He was out there calling the team out, coming in, working on his own, studying film. I want to see him act like and work like the championship quarterback that I know he can (be), and he's done that."

The Advocate

Hard to not see Myles having a 3,000-3500 yard, 25-30 touchdown season.

Trying to confirm from my sauces that he was sober when he said this.

No word yet.

Is that better or worse than Bammers annointing a 5'11, 170 pound freshman as their starter next year?

They usually start blabbering about Young when they're reminded that Macaroni Jones couldnt beat 4 loss Auburn with 4 future NFL receivers.

It will be an interesting QB battle, and it’s certainly nice to have our “problem”

Personally I think it’ll be the Mac Attack this fall

Definitely.

He'll have Bama in the thick of things per usual.

I think we all know this, but it doesn’t matter how well a qb can spin it in practice.
