Great occasion to transpose the letters and call him Brain Kelly

hey man, you may want to do some soul searching and think about whether you want to be the guy trolling about a player with a life changing illness.
Maybe that’s who you want to be. But I doubt that.

My mom has struggled with vertigo for the better part of 3 years
Never had a single MRI still to this day
Neuro’s never ordered one. “Let’s try this first and see it it works”. It has. So no MRI has ever been done

Look, it's a sad situation all around and I'm sure the Brooks family is desperate for money given his medical condition
I hate it for the guy.
But this is a case (and I'll go back as far as Tyrone Prothro at Bama) where in this new era of NIL, there should be some mandatory language in the NIL deals that a certain percentage of the money goes toward an insurance policy that protects against lost future wages in the event of a serious injury or medical condition.
These kids so often come from nothing and the only way they see of making a living after college in the go pro. What happens if you get hurt and that avenue is taken away? Yes, you are in college, fall back on your degree, but that isn't always an option for all of the athletes.

ill grant you in a case like GB, this isnt an option but when else would it not be an option?
wtf is the point of them going to classes then?
we as a society have to stop glorifying these dumbasses that dont value the education they are being given
if they get the degree and then cant do anything with it....well that is life. success is not guaranteed just because you feel like you worked hard

I don't know what your experience has been but when I went to my ENT to complain about vertigo symptoms, after a routine in-office checkup, he ordered an MRI, specifically to ensure I didn't have a brain tumor. Based on the timeline in the Yahoo Sports article (which may not be accurate), Brooks was experiencing symptoms (which progressively got worse) for longer than a month before an MRI was ordered? That's just insanely dumb based on how easily college sports teams can access MRI machines.
My wife has/gets vertigo and has never had an MRI. So I don't think that is in itself enough to trigger an MRI.
Must be something that is done in combination with other symptoms.

Very sad. Hopefully LSU did all they could. If they didn't I hope he gets 500 million.

There really are some sick fricks on this board.
That architect guy comes on this site just to argue and attack people. That post if his proves he doesn’t have any empathy and that he is a pretty sick individual. He is a disgrace.

A lot of insensitive, juvenile assholes should be ashamed of themselves in this thread. I get that everyone loves to trash and troll other fans and schools.
But… this is a really sad and unfortunate situation that happened to Greg Brooks. For anyone with a brain and a conscience, when it comes to cancer and brain tumors, there doesn’t have to be a bad guy, a villain. People come down with cancer every single day in this country. It’s a dreadful disease that takes innocent lives daily. There is no reason to use this poor young man’s unfortunate disease and try to make a mockery of it by being juvenile jerks.

The money won't bring back his ability to walk but it should help.

Recruits should take this as a warning and learn from this.

He must have had a stroke during or after the operation.
A typical neurosurgical consent covers stroke and every other possiblity including death. Who signed the consent?
On the other hand, he should not have had vertigo for that long without getting brain imaging to rule out central vertigo (e.g. cerebellar lesion) versus peripheral vertigo (inner ear/vestibular).

LSU fans you don't have the right to shite talk any of us as long as BK is there.
but you cocksuckers make it so easy?
your schools representative coined the name of the trophy handed out to the school with the most off season arrests
auburn and ole miss share a coach that basically got in a 3 point stance behind recruits so they could achieve more penetration into the disease ridden sloots he provided them.
arkansas rehired their programs bill clinton, and bama just had to fire a baseball coach for betting on his own games.
youre all sleezy as frick and as long as were around why should we let you forget it?
BK has his faults but hes no more qualified to identify a brain tumor than greg brooks friends and family are.

This is probably one of those instances where we shouldn't be trolling and also where we just wish the guy the best.
Hopefully it will allow him to live a somewhat comfortable life. More important things in this world than football and money.
