Everyone is jealous of our program besides LSU fans

If the game were played 10 times, LSU wins at least 8. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING went Alabama's way for 3 quarters - every bounce, every interception, every penalty, every busted play, yet they still couldn't get the ball within reasonable field goal range. In a re-match, LSU doesn't hand Alabama so many gifts for so damn long, and is leading by a touchdown by half time.

so basically I'm not jealous of your program. got it.

Gene Stallings. Now there's some objectivity when it comes to Alabama.
Jerry Stovall thinks LSU would win 7 out of 10.
Mike Archer and Curly Hallman said LSU would win 6 out of 4

"It's the damn kicking game,'' former Auburn coach Pat Dye said. "The kicking game determines close games. Alabama missed four field goals, and they let them (punt) the ball 72 yards. The only mistake LSU had in the kicking game was the flagrant foul on the punt return.''
We had a short punt as well. Guess Dye wasn't paying too much attention.

I still want to know how a team that never got closer than the opponent's 17 had some an impressive offensive showing ? Why is LSU's first and goal before halftime and Randle's dropped pass overlooked ? That's 4 pts right there.
But the thing that has really stumped me is when did merely lining up for a field goal ensure success ?

Former Nebraska head coach Tom Osborne added "The most shocking thing to me was Alabama lacking the testicular fortitude to even try to compete in overtime." The championship coach went on to ask "Was this the first time Alabama or Nick Saban had to play in overtime? It was like watching a monkey fricking a football out there with penalties, Trent Richardson acting like he didn't want to be there and McFetal taking a sack."
Damn Dr Tom didn't hold back.

You clearly don't know what "moral victory" means. What I posted does not fit the bill as a "moral victory". Educate yourself, fool.

Alabama could only muster 6 pts in Death Valley East. They would get reamed in the Dome.

Good point and while rather obvious ,needs to be said. In the event LSU wins out and there is no rematch, if Alabama goes 12-1 with a Sugar Bowl win and that's not considered an outstanding season, the sports world has a problem.
