You could look at the other side of that coin too, and reason that he should strike while the irons hot. Most would agree that a replication in production is unlikely next year. Maybe LSU loses 3 games and he’s no longer the hot commodity that he is today. Maybe then he has to wait another decade before he gets a crack at the NFL again. If Joe Burrow is as elite as most think, then Brady probably should get while the getting is good if NFL is his goal.
Yep. If the guy has NFL aspirations and he has the opportunity this early in his career to jump to an OC in the league he needs to go. The caveat there is knowing that the NFL is all sink or swim. If he fails, his coaching career would be done before he's 35.

If he goes, he goes. It’s not like he is the only person that can run a modern offense and that’s all LSU needed to do to be competitive again. I highly doubt after the success of this season that O is going to say frick it and go back to the old offense. He’s not Les.

LSU has better facilities than Carolina and the stadium is bigger and better

I get that side also.
Question I this. Which is better or worse?
Going back to LSU and have the offense not be the juggernaut it is this year but still very good and schematically ahead just not a top of the draft qb running it. It won't get him fired because people will say Burrow was special and college is more forgiving.
Or
Going to the NFL and bombing with an offense that's already there and again without a top level qb running it. It will get him fired because he can't develop a qb and the pros aren't forgiving.
Which would allow more opportunities in the future? Kliff Kingsbury says the former. He is the perfect example of a guy seen as a savant offensive guy in college. If he bombs in the league his opportunities dry up pretty quickly. He bombed in college and still got an NFL job. NFL is a "what did you do in the big leagues" type of place. Look at the qbs they draft highly out of college. They're arrogant when it comes to their supremacy over anything college.
Don't think Brady leaves this year regardless. He's got a plan and the NFL isn't part of it yet. It's the ultimate goal but not the short term.

LSU has in an interesting fanbase. There probably isn’t one in America with as bad of a case of catastrophe syndrome. For whatever reason, that doesn’t apply to their coaches. Nobody would ever leave LSU.
Maybe because coaches don't normally leave LSU. I don't know the complete LSU history of coaches. But who was the last to leave? Not be fired. Nick Saban? Can't think of any assistants that moved on to bigger and better things. Most coaches are fired from LSU. They have kind of been average for a while. No teams have been wanting their coaches. So the fans are not use to somebody wanting their coaches.

We own Georgia with or without Joe Brady. So not sure why a Georgia fan cares about this

I mean, I think LSU will be willing to pay Brady $2 million. I can't see Carolina going past that number to get him considering he's never really been the man as a coordinator.

LMAO at all the people who think/hope LSU is going back to the old offense after Brady leaves.
Personally I think he stays one more year, but O isn’t stupid enough to go back to the old offense regardless of when Brady leaves. He’ll probably poach another one from Sean Payton.

He'll never be hotter than he is right now. If he has NFL aspirations, he might go.

The only way he gets hotter is if LSU is in the playoff next year with Brennan. That would answer the question about how much was Burrow and how much was Brady.
I agree, he may well go. Anyone thinking LSU is going back to a Les Miles/Ensminger power run offense after he does, though, is simply stupid.
