Unless Joe just is itching to be in pro football I can't see that move. No way Carolina will pay him what LSU is going to. However, in Carolina he's probably on a faster track to an NFL head coaching gig, if that's what he's after.

I do not care whether he goes or not, but I doubt the owner of the Panthers will be outspent by LSU if he wants the guy, considering what he is paying Rhule.

It's not going to be a matter of money 1 way or the other. It will be what brady wants to do. LSU will happily drive the price up as high as we want or need to like Carolina would, in the end it will be where Brady ultimately wants to be moving forward.

We know we're willing to spend at least $1.5M a year for him right now, the question is will Carolina be fine with that or more to even make the offer.

LSU might decide to put off their library upgrades for another decade or two, or find another pediatric cancer charity to rip off.

Carolina will offer 2.5 mill per year and is going to throw everything at the draft and snag Burrow

A&M was our bitch before Brady, they will continue to be so after Brady. I'm not melting at all. I trust Orgeron (never thought i would say that) to replace him with someone good whenever that time comes.

Look I know Brady is the hot name and people from other fanbases are gonna say anyone who says it as an LSU fan is making excuses but I think any NFL team that hires a guy that doesn't and never has called plays is just stupid and get whatever they get.
Also believe it would be stupid on Brady's part. Why ruin your reputation and career before it ever really gets started by hitching your wagon to a coach that's never been an NFL HC on a football team without a viable qb? Sue it could work great but the odds are not in anyone's favor.

LSU has in an interesting fanbase. There probably isn’t one in America with as bad of a case of catastrophe syndrome. For whatever reason, that doesn’t apply to their coaches. Nobody would ever leave LSU. LSU would match whatever a Saudi Sheikh could offer. It’s weird. Like coaching at LSU is the pinnacle of athletics. We’ll see “why would he leave” posted 100 times this week

You could look at the other side of that coin too, and reason that he should strike while the irons hot. Most would agree that a replication in production is unlikely next year. Maybe LSU loses 3 games and he’s no longer the hot commodity that he is today. Maybe then he has to wait another decade before he gets a crack at the NFL again. If Joe Burrow is as elite as most think, then Brady probably should get while the getting is good if NFL is his goal.
