True that may be the case.

Remember how JB was all over Mo Clarett's dick? TR is an exponentially better player than Clarett. So, in my opinion, JB's talent evaluation skills are on par with Todd "I enjoy balls in my face" McShay.

Maybe he is trying to keep the lid on it a little bit so TR doesn't get a big head. Maybe it is that the NFL is a different league now, with RBs by committee all over the place. The Browns needed QB, WR, RB, OL, etc. But using that logic: the Browns probably shouldn't draft Jim Brown himself that high either.

But who cares? Remember Arian Foster was an undrafted free agent and he quieted all those doubters pretty quickly.

running in college was easy for TR. he was on a team with so many highly recruited players. now it's time to see how he does with average players around him.

I hate Bama but TR will do good in the NFL he is just built for it. He doesn't have that, I'm gonna get hurt every other game, speed like AP. He is more of, I didn't bring my lunch today because I am gonna eat yours, type back.

I think Trent Richardson is going to be a helluva NFL running back.

Jim Brown is the best running back in NFL history.

Jim Brown is also a well known opinionated a-hole. Maybe he'll be right, maybe he'll be wrong.

If I were you, I'd just unwad the ol' panties, not give a shite, and wait and see.

Hebert gets more chances if JB was on the radio daily he would be the Babe Ruth of trolling

ETA the Claret thing was about the white devil holding a brother down

according to Jim Brown, again. He's really being outspoken about Trent, I wonder why?

What Brown was talking about is that TR was so much stronger than most of the 215-220 LBs in college, he was able to excell in the college game. I do not remember TR out running too many good SEC defenses, he just ran over them. He will not be able to do that in the NFL with the Browns OL and facing 250lbs and DBs that can run.

I seem to remember TR being a fricking horse his whole career @ Bama.

And shite, he only had one year as THE guy. He pass protects, doesnt fumble, catches the ball out of the backfield, and is as physical as any RB in the past decade.

WTF are you people talking about?

When he played all he had to do was run around or through a bunch of slow white boys. If he played
against today def. players he wouldn't be nothing special or outstanding.

In fairness, Mo Clarett came in as arguably the #1 back in his recruiting class and had probably one of the most amazing freshmen seasons in the history of college football, and then got fat, slow, and crazy.

Brown got fired from his advising gig by Holgren and is now acting out. Never underestimate the ego of a has-been.

Only bammers would call Jim Brown "nothing special".
