Sophomore DE/OLB out of Lithonia.

Had been previously arrested on marijuana charges, but not sure exactly what this is relating to. Fortunately for us, we should be ok at this position but any time you lose a player with that much talent it’s going to sting a little.

Interested to see what news comes out over the next few days and where he heads next.

With Jermaine Johnson there to fill his role and size, my guess is Cox ran out of leverage with which to act up.

Unfortunate, but the Dawgs will be fine.

Maybe he ends up in the Big XII somewhere. Oklahoma would probably love to have him.

Wish the kid well and I hope he gets his shite together.

He would had been given multiple team votes and coverups if he'd had been at L$U just like TM7.

Was never that impressed. Azeez looked better by the end. Nolan and Jermaine, hearing exactly what we were hoping. Grant is solid if not spectacular. Adam needs more weight but should do well in passing situations.

If we had to lose one on scholly, he would've been my pick.

As the hedges burn.

Shall I start a thread of keeping up with all of UGA's offseason woes?

I won't because I'm not that pathetic.

Great talent but a terrible attitude. I remember Walker almost fighting him during the LSU game. Didn’t he also tell a coach to frick off when they called to see why he was late?

UGA recruiting "insiders" loved poking fun at Bama back when Cox picked the pups over the tide. Looks like he didn't end up being that big of a difference maker. Best of luck to the kid. Bama loses Anoma. UGA loses Cox. Both won't have much of an impact.

Only if our coach was pathetic enough to talk trash about a team that has destroyed him 2 years in a row, but Kirby hasn’t pulled a mullen.

Just here to watch UGA fans shite on the kid and give reasons why they are better for the move.

Truth! UGA fans will just state that their awesome freshmen with zero experience but 5 stars is going to be better anyways and that Cox wasn’t going to hold onto his spot much longer anyways.

They always do it. UGA fans all think their freshmen are just the greatest things ever and when they aren’t they just get excited for the next freshman. It’s really perfect because they can’t be disappointed when stuff like this happens.

Wish him the best, but there have been reports that he was probably getting passed up and hopes the competition would inspire him to reach his ceiling. Sounded more and more like it wasn't. That's not a hindsight thing. Just went back and read an insider post from a month ago. He had problems. Likely would not have been a factor this year. Though the 2018 class was much more heralded, the 2019 defensive guys have made a much, much bigger buzz at practice this year than those other guys did last year.

Is it shitting on a kid to say that someone at least flirting with getting kicked off the team is a frickup? Seems like a reasonable conclusion

As far as Team Vote, I think you mean Kansas.

Also, Weed isn't tested by the NCAA. Its by school. So comparing one school to another when punishing pot users isn't fair.

In this day and age, why are we kicking players off for smoking pot? Smoking pot is legal in a lot of states. I don't understand the NFL's stance on it either.

But whatever. I guess you can argue it's a "competitive advantage" in that it helps with pain. I just don't think the punishment fits the crime though. Must be other stuff going on, right?
