ou've been listening to Starws too much. We also beat Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl. Fluke, too? Your logic astounds me
You’re proud of beating Oklahoma who plays 0 defense and would lose four games a year In The SEC? Congrats I guess.

You’re the one who will be melting when you take all those 5 stars to Jacksonville and lose. Maybe then you’ll stop living and dying by the recruiting rankings.

I’m not talking about the last part of his tenure I’m talking his first 3-4 years
Huh? So you're comparing "3 to 4 years" out of a 15 year resume of one coach to the FIRST 3 and only years of another coach? C'mon.
And you didn't even address how poor CMR was when it came to roster mgt.

if calling it that helps you feel better have at it. I’m not above a melt. I’m a nobody. You’re still gonna lose in Jacksonville. Have a nice day mutt.

How am I supposed to compare a 15 year career to a 4 year one? I’m comparing the first 4 years for both. What would you prefer? For me to just assume Kirby won’t take a step back once everyone sees what a used car salesman he is?

You would give anything for UF to be good enough to win a playoff game.

This is the difference between UF expectations and UGA expectations. UF expectations are to win it all. SEC championship is great but NCs are where it is at.

We aren’t the ones bragging about our 5 stars everyday.
Not really an accomplishment since Florida fans literally do not have a 5 star to brag about. Not one composite 5 star on the roster. SAD!

Reloading in 2018, after losing 31 elite Richt recruits, and facing a much improved east, should have proven a lot to you, but you lets straws influence you too much to think rationally.

Will you bring that same energy when you lose Nov. 2nd?

The way y'all celebrate a peach bowl win says otherwise. Your standards have changed a lot since Saban induced a heart attack for Urban.

Would I? I don’t think I care as much as you to be honest. Florida making the playoffs doesn’t effect my life in any way shape or form. I come here for the laughs, and to talk shite. Winning or losing isn’t in my control.

The east wasn’t that good and it was year one for the best coach in the league. Just because you’re obsessed with Straws doesn’t mean the rest of us are. Me and Straws have disagreements on a number of subjects.

You wouldn’t understand Kirby didn’t win 10 games and a NY6 bowl in his first year. Y’all lost to Vandy.

He was committed to Ohio State for quite a while. Bullet dodged on this one I guess? I hope he gets his act together. He's very talented and you hate to see someone screw up opportunities because they can't get their head together.
Exactly. Am I thrilled that we lost a 5* athlete? Of course not, but it certainly could have come at a worse position for us.
Hope this is the wake up call he needs to get his act together.
Also, @ the posters acting like he wasn't a known problem child, from his recruiting days, to last year's incident where D. Walker had to get in his face at a game for his work ethic, to multiple instances where he's been noted as mouthing off to coaches... coupled with the MJ charges it's just not difficult to understand why he needed to go. It's not re-writing history to acknowledge that he wasn't fitting in and the room is probably deep enough to not take a huge hit in spite of the loss.

UGA's 2018 #1 ranked recruiting class looked great on paper.
Isn't that kind of the point of trying to sign high recruiting classes? Players are going to bust, fail to develop, etc... if you take enough quality athletes, then when the inevitable losses do happen, you're still in good shape.
And as noted, it still looks pretty damn good on paper, despite the attrition.
