I didn't remember that. He had been committed or rumored silent to tOSU for the longest time, wasn't he? I remember back during his recruitment that people said he had a huge attitude problem, so not surprised that it ended up this way either way.

Holloman last month, now Cox. Typical UGA off season.

Wish him well at Auburn.

Since Saban took our marijuana cast off, don't see why he wouldn't take this one?

So we’re like every other fan base then. Good to know.

Evidently drugs, and not just pot, were Anoma's problem too. These kids, both 5 star recruits, have a golden opportunity. I hope they both get things straightened out. I made mistakes when I was young, so I won't judge them.

Dang. This stings.

Whatever happened with the guy, I hope he learns from it and rebounds. If Crowell could get his life turned around then anyone can. I wish him nothing but the best.

Next Man Up

No, it’s the terrible attitude and drugs story.

He was committed to Ohio State for quite a while. Bullet dodged on this one I guess? I hope he gets his act together. He's very talented and you hate to see someone screw up opportunities because they can't get their head together.

UGA's 2018 #1 ranked recruiting class looked great on paper.

Not sure what the story is yet. There is now talk that no one can confirm he is off the team. The site that initially reported it may have jumped the gun. We may not know until Saturday's presser with Kirby.

Regardless if he is here or not. We are more talented with him, and we do have a lot of guys that can play his position.

He got called out last year for losing contain and got in a shoving match on the field in a game with D'andre Walker for missing his assignments. Later in the season when Walker got hurt in the SEC championship game it was Cox who lost contain on Hurts multiple times. This offseason he got busted for pot by a maintenance worker at his dorm. I wish him well whether he is at UGA or not. He has a lot of talent but he is going to be on a tight leash if he stays at UGA.

I believe minus attrition in that class (Fields, Ford, possibly Cox) we still finish #2

Although it’s unclear what the dismissal was for, Cox was facing a possible suspension following an April arrest for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Best of luck to him. Hope he gets his priorities straight & capitalizes on his physical abilities while he can & while people still believe in him.

I thought Kirby learned from Saban. We never would have dismissed him for that. Just ask Cam Robinson.
