Best player I ever played against in high school was Kenneth Dixon (Louisiana tech/Baltimore ravens).Played at a tiny school so didn’t see much high level talent but he was on another level.also I think he actually set some ncaa record for touchdowns at one point. Also played against damarea Crockett in junior high he went to mizzou and bounced around the league a little bit.

Andre Royal. Won a ring at Bama. Special teams for the Panthers. Signed with Saints to play safety but the blew up deal when he had an issue out in New Orleans.

Short answer is no.

I broke the collarbone of a highly recruited OLB on a designed Crack block and felt awful immediately. He was the most talented player on the field and I'm the jerk that cost him a D1 Scholly.

In college. I used to play pickup touch football games in my hometown with Antonio Langham's family. Even when he was in the Pros he joined occasionally. That was as close to NFL potential as my podunk arse ever got.

I played against Eddie Fuller. I had the only solo tackle on him all night and he actually had to leave the field for a play afterwards.

I saw him several years later when he was playing for the Bills. He actually recognized me and told me he remembered that hit.

That was my Al Bundy moment from high school.

It was basketball….but…Keith Lee and Michael Cage on the West Memphis 79-80 year basketball team were beyond dominant. Probably the best two HS players on one team until all the IMF type academies started.

Cage ended up the 14th pick overall in the NBA draft…long career….currently analyst on OKC Thunder games. Lee was the 11th pick overall, certainly a better scorer, but only played 3 NBA seasons.

My teammate was an assistant coach, and T. Mcferrin (our old coach) was head coach of that South Gwinnett team.

Darrel Henderson
Cam Akers
Gardner Minshew
Cam Robinson
Raekwon Davis

I am sure there are more but they are slipping my mind.

played baseball against a kid that was drafted in the second round for a MLB team. He was a bust. He was just a physically gifted human. I cannot imagine what a 1st round human would be like to compete against.

Played against Adam Loewen who was the No 3 overall pick when I was playing juco ball. He was throwing 95-97. Pretty cool to watch.

We pinned Carver-Columbus to the 1-yard line on a punt in the state quarterfinals. The next play they pitched it to Isaiah Crowell and he went 99 yards. I swear, the way he outran our safeties down the sideline looked just like that Tyreek Hill Bills play from last year.

We won the game though

Jamal Renyolds AA and 1st rd pick from FSU picked me up and dropped me when I had to emergency play LT as a Soph. I sacked Woody Danzler and Phil Petty as a DT but both of them ended up beating us with last second TD passes.

We, our OL, tried to block Tracy Rocker. He was as advertised, but we won the game.
