It's impossible to know the actual numbers.

Whether it's possible or not to know the actual numbers, we can all agree that players, such as those listed, are no longer amateur athletes. They are pretty much paid "professionals" since the advent of NIL.

Its not even about the money. In general there's an age and talent gap between cfb and the nfl. Sure the upper echelons of age/talent of cfb players will overlap some with the lower echelons of nfl players, but those are mostly outliers. I think before two weeks ago most of us would have agreed the two leagues should remain completely separate with players only being able to move up but not back down.

NIL is paid for Name Image and Likeness, so they aren't technically being paid to play football. NIL is paid by outside sources rather than the schools themselves.
Professional players are paid by the teams directly in a contract directly associated with them playing.
Thus, NCAA players are not professional sports players.
That could change with revenue sharing that started last month. But currently it's still not seen as professionals because it's sharing revenue rather than being a salary. We'll see how that goes.

Right, but technically they are NIL and it's not supposed to be pfp. We all know it's being used as a loophole, but when it comes to who signs the checks and pays the money, it's NIL and separate 3rd parties.
These are what they say in terms of if the players should be called employees or not. They say they aren't employees for these reasons.

I think the point is don't pretend you're protecting the purity of the game. You just have a problem with Lane or another team getting a player that could help them. When Chamblis or Hutson or Alabama players play those schools conveniently lose sight of that so called "purity".

Revenue share is pay for play. The athletes sign a contract to play for the school and the school pays them an agreed upon amount.
