If everyone on this board has an opinion on this, as you claim, why are there so few posts?

You could be related to this guy named wildrebeltime. Ruhtard.

He wasn't even the best player on his own team last year.

I'm just saying, he could still be very good, but it will be seen as a downgrade because all anyone remembers is the first quarter against Bama.

He gets little credit for ou from me because their de's were playing like functional retards.

There are a decent amount of replies. I hope to get more. I thought it would be fun to get alot of posts. The reason I know everyone has an opinion is there have been 10,000 posts on JFF drinking.

Of course I could be wrong. I still have hope this is a football crowd. What better topic than to have everyone pick how JFF will fare this year. Everyone guesses about it on damn near every thread any way. I figure lets get it in one place.

3. Has lost something for sure - different player. Offseason took its tole. Whether booze, pressure or out of shape or whatever, he just doesn't have it. Starts all year but is not JFF.

A&M fans have built him up to be a god and put the weight of their season all on him. That's too much pressure for an alcoholic. When things start falling apart the fans and his teammate will blame him because they think he is their savior and that will make it worse. The OLine not being as good and giving him that extra time to make a JFF play will only make him worse. He will eventually fall apart and end up looking average on an average team.

I'll go 2.5 as well. Seen it too many times from great players. Defenses adjust, the spotlight blinds, and the attitude reaches Everest-level. The plummet to reality will be painful.

The BEST thing for A&M will be a close call against Rice, but even then it will likely be blown off as "Opening Night".

Oh and who cares, if he doesn't play perfectly aTm fans and the media are gonna have a field day rapping him in the news and social networking.... He's acted like a "Jake leg" as the OP so aptly put it.....

He will have an average season and hopefully be forgotten about on the rant. This board is terrible now.

The fact that you kept talking about being an LSU fan a week ago is hilarious.

Anyway,

Plays like JFF (this deosnt' mean has to win Heisman or win Natty although doesn't exclude it.
Playing like JFF already doesn't mean he has to win a championship, of any kind. No need to clarify.

What A&M needs is for there to be other players on your team who play well, specifically on defense. Otherwise it won't matter what he does because you'll still have 2 losses.

I'll go on the record with a 1.2

He'll look really good pretty much every game, except Bama will contain him this year.
